Objective:

• Familiarize with the molecular and genetic tools used to analyze genomes, modify genetic material and techniques for modifying organisms to produce desired products.

This course is common to all the students. This course includes an update of the Basic Sciences such as Biomechanics & Applied Physiotherapy, Biophysics, etc for improving abilities in functional diagnosis and clinical reasoning. This course also includes Allied Subjects such as Management, Ethics & Teaching Technology. The candidate has to study 5 Cases for presentation at the time of practical examination.

This course includes the study of any one Specialty selected from above & an independent research project/ dissertation, preferably based on the Specialty.

Naturopathy, or naturopathic medicine, is a form of alternative medicine based on a belief in vitalism, which posits that a special energy called vital energy or vital force guides bodily processes such as metabolism, reproduction, growth, and adaptation.

The Dravyaguna department mainly deals with the Dravya (medicine), Guna (properties) and its Karma (activity). It comprises of maetria medica, pharmacognosy, pharmacology and Ayurvedic clinical therapeutics. The curriculum is designed in such a way that, it includes Ayurvedic as well as contemporary knowledge of medicine.

A Dravyaguna expert can get jobs in several fields like government and private sector, academic (Ayurveda pharmaceutical colleges and companies), research oriented jobs as a Research officer in CCRAS, AYUSH department, pharmaceutical industries (Ayurveda as well as herbal unit), clinical research units. As Dravyaguna subject covers detailed study of medicinal plants, like identification, adulteration, substitution, agro technical aspects. It enables the physician to practice efficiently as compared to the practitioners of other specialties. 

The Masters in Urban Design program offers students to shift and enhance their previously set paradigm to the macro scale of perceiving the underlined architectural urban scenarios. The Clinical Nutrition course will provide the student with a detailed scientific understanding of how nutrition can be used in the management of various diseases. Students will learn the role of diet in the causation, progression, and treatment of different disease conditions. They will also learn how to evaluate nutritional needs in various medical conditions and recommend dietary therapy based on established guidelines and treatment protocols. The course will help the student to understand how to use nutrition to prevent, manage and treat various diseases to serve the society.
