B.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Engineering program integrates two core engineering branches to meet the latest demands of electronics and computer industries in today’s rapidly growing engineering and technology sector. Under the 2-year M. Tech in Information Technology Programme, the students learn advanced areas related to Cloud, Network, Information & Data processing, security and privacy. They understand the open problems and current research work happening in these areas. Students are in this manner enabled to pursue research in domains related to Information Technology.

Master of Business Administration or MBA in Human Resource Management is a 2-year post graduate program and is open to individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in any stream. MBA in HR is perfect for individuals with good communication skills and an ability to envision a larger picture for an organization. At present, skilled HR Professionals are required in all public and private sector organizations.

M. Tech (Instrumentation Engineering) is a unique inter-disciplinary two-year post-graduate program intended to equip students with knowledge of instrumentation, process control and automation of various industries. The course provides a sound foundation and trains students to ‘model’ problems or ‘simulate’ processes varying across many disciplines in science and engineering. It educates and trains students for a diverse range of theoretical skills and practical experience of real-time applications and design experience. The program covers courses like computational tools, measurement, control, automation, and IoT. The second-year offers students several fields of specialization through elective courses. The program culminates with a computational, automation, control, Signal and Image processing and IoT dissertation project in their second year. Students are encouraged to develop Industrial collaborative projects.

The Ayurveda Department at DY Patil University is unique because we focus on inter and intradepartmental association so that we can create and facilitate the best treatment for a number of diseases based on an amalgamation of topics in healthcare. Ayurveda is known to get rid of chronic diseases and thus our institute is very research intensive, constantly striving for innovation in treatment practices.

As a part of the coursework, awareness programs are arranged regularly with the help of PG students, to spread awareness about lifestyle disorders arising due to excessive use of electronic gadgets, like computer vision syndrome, amblyopia, refractive error in early age, squint, allergic disorders etc. We assist in the implementation of the national program for the Prevention of Blindness & Rehabilitation of the visually impaired.

MBA with specialisation in Hospital and Healthcare Management is a postgraduate course, offered in various public and private institutes in India. This course aims at understanding the issues faced by health care systems, and the skills required for the perfect functioning of the healthcare sector.

This intensive coursework trains our students to become competent barristers, lawyers, and solicitors. It hones their communication skills, debate skills, and improves their analytical and research faculties. The coursework is intensive, which provides our students with the right tools to get started with a fruitful career in Law, in any specialty of their choosing. This department comprises of three subjects Agadtantra i.e. Toxicology, Vyavhar Ayurved i.e. Forensic Medicine & Vidhivaidyak i.e. Medical Jurisprudence. Agadtantra deals with detail study of poisons, whereas Vyavhar Ayurved & Vidhivaidyak deals with medical aspect of law & legal aspect of medicine respectively.

Objectives :

• It gives complete knowledge of various kinds of toxicities & legal procedures.
• Forensic Medicine & Medical Jurisprudence is a challenging area of medical specialization which comprises of law & medicine.
• It is concerned with a broad range of medical, legal, and ethical issues, as well as human rights and rights of individual.
• The knowledge of this subject is very useful in medical practice as well as to the society.
• Scattered references of Agadtantra & Vidhivaidyak are there in ancient texts which need to be studied with modern perspective.
• Through postgraduation various researches can be carried out. For eg. efficacy of anti-poisonous drugs mentioned in ancient texts in cases of poisoning, prevention of toxicities, detoxification of poisons & their use as a medicine.

This is a post-graduate program of 3 years tenure , recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program involves rotational postings in the departments of Pathology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, General Medicine, TB and Chest Medicine and Dermatology. Besides General Pathology, the student is exposed to quality work in Cytology, Dermatopathology, Neuropathology, Oncopathology and Haematopathology. The department has a well equipped laboratory with state of art facilities and a dedicated post-graduate section with a penta-head microscope and well equipped library that is open round the clock.

The student thus gains from the state of art infrastructure coupled with dedicated and experienced teachers . The practical training entails, diagnostic interpretation of laboratory tests, histopathology and cytology. In addition to this the student gains by interaction with clinical services, understanding of technical methods, instrumentation, information systems, quality assurance and Laboratory management. This extensive practical training is backed by impartation of sound theoretical knowledge via the medium of lectures, seminars, case discussions and journal clubs.

The program gives adequate clinical and research experience to the student . It facilitates the development of excellent diagnostic skills in addition to a sound judgement in the practice of Pathology and all its sub-specialities

MDS Prosthodontics is a 3 year PG course in the field of dentistry. It provides higher competence in both general and special areas of prosthodontics and prepares a candidate for teaching, research and clinical abilities.
