B.Sc. in Nutrition & Health is a single major programme which offers two distinct pathways; Nutrition and Health and a limited opportunity to mix the two. This course investigates the scientific aspects of food science and nutrition and the wider implications of diet on our health and wellbeing. The politics of food in society, involving manufacturers, retailers, consumers and health professionals, are complex and continually evolving. The programme provides a balance of scientific and socio-economic studies of diet, nutrition and related health aspects. Its breadth leads to an appreciation of the key positions of food in society, health and well-being, as well as in the manufacture, marketing and retailing of foods, and a knowledge of the appropriate law and regulations. M.Sc. Microbiology is a two-year degree program wherein students are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, coursework and projects about the components and composition of microscopic living organisms and their assembly and interactions important in sustaining life. By using theoretical knowledge and techniques, students attempt to investigate and solve biological problems pertaining to the understanding of physiological processes of the microbes, their interaction with hosts leading to diseases and subsequent disease diagnostics, prevention, therapy and prognostics.

Fire and safety engineering refers to precautions that are taken to prevent or reduce the likelihood of a fire that may result in death, injury, or property damage.

It can be defined as the art and science of designing buildings and facilities for life safety and property protection in the event of an unwanted fire with application of scientific and engineering principles. The fire engineering design sectors are at the forefront in ensuring fire safety is maintained and enhanced, without exhausting natural resources or damaging the environment.

This course is designed for the students who dream to be involved in the design of industrial safety solutions along with the fire protection measures through the application of prevailing knowledge and proven techniques. The program enables students to explore the various possibilities of preventing fires.

BA (H) English program is designed to provide students with a liberal arts foundation while sharpening their language skills and analytical abilities in English. The course includes English Literature, English Language, Poetry, Grammar, Creative Writing and Linguistics.
