The B.Sc. syllabus emphasizes learning of chemical principles in theory as well as their experimental aspects. After an introductory course in chemical structure and properties, students will take foundational level courses that will show how chemical structure can be used to explain physical, organic, inorganic, and biochemical reactions and how these chemicals and their reactions can be quantitated and modeled mathematically. The students will conduct a series of experiments in the laboratories equipped with modern instrumentation and computers, where they will learn important techniques and skills in synthesis, analysis, separation and modeling of chemical reactions. The students undertake various research projects under the mentorship of faculty members in the institute or external mentors for their bachelor’s level dissertation.

Masters of Arts in Psychology is an advanced and specialized programme aimed at instilling knowledge and apprising the learners of practical applicability of the subject so that they can apply the same in diverse fields, exhibiting exceptional skills in the field of Health Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Developmental Psychology and Counselling Psychology. The Animation and Motion Graphics Department at UID aims at providing top notch Industry standard training in the various facets of animation. Starting from traditional 2D classical animation to the new-age VR animation, every aspect of the subject is covered. The course prepares the student to master one’s skills and understanding so that they can choose any career in the production pipeline, be it in the pre-production, production or post-production level. Independent film-making and commercial film-making both are an integral part of the training.

M.Sc. Microbiology is a two-year degree program wherein students are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, coursework and projects about the components and composition of microscopic living organisms and their assembly and interactions important in sustaining life. By using theoretical knowledge and techniques, students attempt to investigate and solve biological problems pertaining to the understanding of physiological processes of the microbes, their interaction with hosts leading to diseases and subsequent disease diagnostics, prevention, therapy and prognostics.

This course deals with Importance and scope of horticulture, Horticultural and botanical classification, Climate and soil for horticultural crops, Plant propagation-methods (sexual & asexual), propagating structures; separation, division, grafting, budding, layering), High density planting; Use of rootstocks; Orchard establishment, Principles and methods of training and pruning, Juvenility and flower bud differentiation; Unfruitfulness; pollination, pollinizers and pollinators; fertilization and parthenocarpy; Use of plant bio-regulators in horticulture, Irrigation methods in horticulture crops, Fertilizers application-methods.

The 2 years full time post graduate Programme has been designed to focus on developing a strong public health structure in India and countries with similar conditions. Students will be trained to enhance the efficiency & effectiveness of the government's plans & policies related to health care at primary and secondary levels. It will also help to gather data, interpret and make recommendations to various agencies for planning and allocating the resources.

Functional movement is a key part of any one's life and Physiotherapy plays a key role in helping people to improve their quality of life. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a four and a half year full time Programme at GDGU, where students will be trained to work with people to identify and maximize their ability to move and perform various functions. Students at GDGU, through intense clinical exposure, will be provided with systematic Physiotherapy education in theory as well as practical with an emphasis on clear concepts and basics.
