Optometrists are trained professionals involved in diagnosis and treatment of visual defects with the help of optical instruments. M.Sc. Microbiology is a two-year degree program wherein students are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, coursework and projects about the components and composition of microscopic living organisms and their assembly and interactions important in sustaining life. By using theoretical knowledge and techniques, students attempt to investigate and solve biological problems pertaining to the understanding of physiological processes of the microbes, their interaction with hosts leading to diseases and subsequent disease diagnostics, prevention, therapy and prognostics.

B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (IOT) program provides you with a sound knowledge of the Internet of Things, principles, and applications in science and engineering domains. It develops in you an ability to analyze complex engineering problems and generate solutions through the Internet of Things. Through the program, the students shall have a thorough knowledge of electronic engineering and computer science and a firm foundation in wireless communication and computer networks. Deep knowledge of IoT devices, systems, and networks is also included. The students will develop strong skills in sensors, embedded systems, and privacy & security of IoT.

Fire and safety engineering refers to precautions that are taken to prevent or reduce the likelihood of a fire that may result in death, injury, or property damage.

It can be defined as the art and science of designing buildings and facilities for life safety and property protection in the event of an unwanted fire with application of scientific and engineering principles. The fire engineering design sectors are at the forefront in ensuring fire safety is maintained and enhanced, without exhausting natural resources or damaging the environment.

This course is designed for the students who dream to be involved in the design of industrial safety solutions along with the fire protection measures through the application of prevailing knowledge and proven techniques. The program enables students to explore the various possibilities of preventing fires.

This course also helps students to apply modern design tools to analyze and design subsystems/ processes for a variety of applications.

Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forensic Science program is designed to develop theoretical knowledge and practical application of the key aspects of Forensic Science. Students under this program will initially be taught the fundamentals of Forensic Biology and Forensic Chemistry that underpin much of the laboratory analysis associated with forensic investigations. This will be followed by comprehensive courses on the recovery and processing of a variety of evidence types found at crime scenes as well as the evaluation and presentation of that evidence in a legal context.
