M.Sc. Microbiology is a two-year degree program wherein students are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, coursework and projects about the components and composition of microscopic living organisms and their assembly and interactions important in sustaining life. By using theoretical knowledge and techniques, students attempt to investigate and solve biological problems pertaining to the understanding of physiological processes of the microbes, their interaction with hosts leading to diseases and subsequent disease diagnostics, prevention, therapy and prognostics.

The BA (H) Liberal Arts programme is designed to provide students with a foundation in the subjects that make up liberal arts. Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forensic Science program is designed to develop theoretical knowledge and practical application of the key aspects of Forensic Science. Students under this program will initially be taught the fundamentals of Forensic Biology and Forensic Chemistry that underpin much of the laboratory analysis associated with forensic investigations. This will be followed by comprehensive courses on the recovery and processing of a variety of evidence types found at crime scenes as well as the evaluation and presentation of that evidence in a legal context.
