The PG program in Power Electronics & Drives is a 2 years full time specialization program opted by students who have been awarded B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.The program has been designed keeping in view that in today’s scenario more than 60% electric power generated will be transformed and used by electric drives of machines. Modern microprocessor control and advanced power electronics devices allow versatile speed and torque control of electric machines. The issue of optimal motion control of technical devices is a pressing one, with a solution that will lead to higher productivity. The program has been designed to impart knowledge about power converters & its applications, energy converters, semi-conductors, advanced control systems, neutral networks, digital signal processing and digital control systems.

Masters in Economics is a two year full time regular post graduate degree programme. Economics is a subject that affects many aspects of almost all businesses. It has a great impact on any individual and the society as a whole. The study of Economics gives a deep insight on how to create a balance between demand and supply. The course is broadly categorized in two branches i.e. Macro & Micro. During the tenure of the course, the students are given in depth knowledge about the types of economies, fundamentals of economic growth, development of public finance & international trade and distribution, money & banking and factor pricing.

B.Sc. (Home Science- Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics) is a three years undergraduate program that offers professional knowledge in the field of nutrition, health, food and hygiene. It helps in maintaining the standards of living. Home science with its wide application in the field of textiles, food nutrition, clothing, hygiene and management is becoming widely popular. It is an inter-disciplinary program that combines idea from science and arts for the well-being of population.
