The B.Com (Honors) program is intended to provide strong foundation and overall academic development to students. This programme is to impart basic knowledge and skills in all the important subjects in the field of Commerce, to equip the students thoroughly in the field of financial market and banking & finance, to prepare students for advanced studies in Finance and Management and also professional courses in Accounting, Costing, Financial Analysis, Insurance and Corporate Secretary-ship, to foster ethical and moral values and attitudes for their development as effective personnel for business, industry and the financial services sector.

The degree is suited to students who wish to pursue a career in which knowledge of law and legal system is of major importance.

The objective of the course is to

Students who major in Events & Entertainment management enter a variety of careers which include domains like Project Management, Business Development, Wedding Planning, Marketing & Sponsorship, Experiential Marketing, Social & Digital Media, Hospitality & Logistic Management, Production & Operation Management, Artiste Management, Hybrid Event Specialist, Creative Development, Event Visualiser, On-stage & Backstage Management etc.

The Course introduces the students to the vast and dynamic world of Events & Entertainment management. The students are equipped with adequate knowledge and skills to build a strong foundation that provides them with an opportunity to explore various opportunities with Corporates, Event Agencies, PR agencies, Broadcast, Content Producers, OTT Platforms and Advertising Agencies.

The undergraduate program in Psychology at JLU aims at imparting the knowledge of various domains of Psychology. The modules offered at undergraduate level invigorate and apprise the learners of theoretical constructs and practical applicability of the subject. It takes a multi-dimensional approach to ensure that the students have a deep understanding of the core fundamentals and thus enabling them to apply various psychological concepts.

The program aims to impart basic knowledge and skills in the important areas of Psychology especially, the foundations of psychology, physiological psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, organisational psychology, human resource management, psychology of health and wellbeing. Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a minimum 2 year full time programme in management. The programme offers options to specialize or earn a major or a minor in a pre-specified functional area. It brings an internationally benchmarked learning context. It primarily aims to help students up to 5 years of experience including fresh graduates, and/or students and with family business background emerge as business managers and leaders.

The BA Liberal Arts (English Literature) program at JLU provides the student an opportunity to assess her/his aptitude and be able to carry it through the three years of discovery and interchange. The objective of this course is to enable the students to understand the literatures belonging to various ages and to be able to analyze and interpret the same. During the course the students will read and write on Shakespeare, Romantic poetry, Victorian poetry and the novel. They will also have ample space to delve into Nobel award-winning post-colonial works from Africa, Asia, North and Latin America, and Modern Europe. By doing an in depth study of the different authors and genres, the students will explore and enhance their horizons pertaining to language and literature. While studying the Literature course students are able to appreciate how ‘literary’ and ‘non-literary’ writing forms are related as rhetorical forms. While creating the enactments the students will become aware of the historical context related to various periods of English Literary history.

Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Accounting is a minimum 3 year full time undergraduate programme in business administration with a strong accounting modules aligned with the ACCA.

The post-graduate course in law is aimed at providing advanced education and training to law graduates. The curriculum is diligently designed to cater to the needs of the students. Currently, School of Law is running LL.M. in three different streams i.e. Corporate and IP Laws, Cyber Laws and Cyber Security and Criminal Law and Criminal Justice.
