It is a five year course comprising of ten semesters on completion of which a student earns a graduate degree in law. This course is designed to acquaint a student with the conceptual and operational parameters of general principles of law and its operation in the society. These courses help to understand how central and state governments function and how legislations are enacted and enforced. Apart from the traditional ways like lecture, assignments etc teaching pedagogy will cover up most up-to-date methods such as research, case studies, presentations and discussions.

BA (Hons) Public Policy & Administration course aims to enable the students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the various dimensions of public policy and the role of governance in its implementation. The major objective of the program is to provide students with intellectual insights, critical perspectives, professional competence, and analytical tools crucial to their understanding of the field of public policy and public administration.

This course gives an insight to the students into the fundamentals of legal studies. They are exposed to basic concepts of law and legal system. Apart from the traditional ways like lecture, assignments etc teaching pedagogy will cover up most up-to-date methods such as research, case studies, presentations, mooting, discussions, and clinical legal education.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a minimum 2 year full time programme in management. The programme offers options to specialize or earn a major or a minor in a pre-specified functional area. It brings an internationally benchmarked learning context. It primarily aims to help students up to 5 years of experience including fresh graduates, and/or students and with family business background emerge as business managers and leaders.

The B.Com (Honors) program is intended to provide strong foundation and overall academic development to students. This programme caters to commerce aspirants who desire to build their professional competence on a higher plateau with specialised knowledge in the field of financial market and banking & finance. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and competence in the field of business and commerce to pursue a professional career. Bachelor of Business Administration course is a regular 3-year undergraduate degree program in management that focuses on the fundamentals of business and imparts management skills. The BA Liberal Arts (English Literature) program at JLU provides the student an opportunity to assess her/his aptitude and be able to carry it through the three years of discovery and interchange. The objective of this course is to enable the students to understand the literatures belonging to various ages and to be able to analyze and interpret the same. During the course the students will read and write on Shakespeare, Romantic poetry, Victorian poetry and the novel. They will also have ample space to delve into Nobel award-winning post-colonial works from Africa, Asia, North and Latin America, and Modern Europe. By doing an in depth study of the different authors and genres, the students will explore and enhance their horizons pertaining to language and literature. While studying the Literature course students are able to appreciate how ‘literary’ and ‘non-literary’ writing forms are related as rhetorical forms. While creating the enactments the students will become aware of the historical context related to various periods of English Literary history.
