BA (Hons) Public Policy & Administration course aims to enable the students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the various dimensions of public policy and the role of governance in its implementation. The major objective of the program is to provide students with intellectual insights, critical perspectives, professional competence, and analytical tools crucial to their understanding of the field of public policy and public administration.

The BA Liberal Arts (English Literature) program at JLU provides the student an opportunity to assess her/his aptitude and be able to carry it through the three years of discovery and interchange. The objective of this course is to enable the students to understand the literatures belonging to various ages and to be able to analyze and interpret the same. During the course the students will read and write on Shakespeare, Romantic poetry, Victorian poetry and the novel. They will also have ample space to delve into Nobel award-winning post-colonial works from Africa, Asia, North and Latin America, and Modern Europe. By doing an in depth study of the different authors and genres, the students will explore and enhance their horizons pertaining to language and literature. While studying the Literature course students are able to appreciate how ‘literary’ and ‘non-literary’ writing forms are related as rhetorical forms. While creating the enactments the students will become aware of the historical context related to various periods of English Literary history.

Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) is an undergraduate programme which has been specifically designed to provide a platform to undergraduate students for a prospective career in upcoming data science industry. The course encompasses Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving approach that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. It is intensive skill-oriented program with enough practical training for building business models for analytics. The programme offers options to specialize or earn a major or a minor in a pre-specified functional area. It brings an internationally benchmarked learning context. It primarily aims to help students up to 5 years of experience including fresh graduates, and/or students and with family business background emerge as business managers and leaders.
