B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering programme at JKLU provides fundamental knowledge of the basic concepts and theories of analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is one of the primordial branches of engineering. The programme incorporates courses from the area of design, manufacturing, and thermal. To remain in sync with the industry, the programme offers compulsory core courses, department electives, interdisciplinary courses, open electives, and practice schools for industrial training. The associated laboratory work and projects provide an opportunity for hands-on experience and a better understanding of the course. In the current era, almost all the mechanical systems like cars, air conditions, refrigerator, etc. are amalgamated with electronics and electronic devices to make the process automatic. We have come up with this unique concentration where the students of mechanical engineering can learn both the fields of engineering. Robots are deployed in industries to make human life easy and convenient. The automation and robots in industries are capable of accomplishing tasks which could otherwise be hazardous for humans. To fulfil this need of time, we have incorporated a curriculum in electro-mechanical subjects to the concentration in automation and robotics.
