The concentration in digital systems enables students to design digital systems using various design models and implement these for various applications in space communication, consumer electronics, medical devices, process control, and automation industry. The B.Des. Programme begins with the common foundation programme for all disciplines.

The first year is a Common Foundation across different streams of design that enables you to acquire the requisite basics before embarking on three years of more specialised design education programme. Hands-on skill courses like Design drawing and Workshop skills like material manipulations, including working on a variety of materials like Wood, Bamboo, Sheet metal, Aluminium, and others form an integral part of the course curriculum.

Learn basic design theory, thorough grounding in elements of form, colour, and aesthetics besides the important sensitisation courses like Environmental Perception and History of Design that aim to give you a complete understanding and perspective of Design as a whole.
Apart from these regular inputs, you also get to learn basic computer skills, photography, printing basics, and presentations.
