Recently, the IT Industry has shifted towards business process automation. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one of the widely adopted techniques not only in the IT industries but also in the non-IT industries to automate their monotonous and laborious tasks to gain efficiency, accuracy, and cost management. RPA can be implemented with the help of various RPA tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, HelpsSystems, and Pega Robotics.

The programme aims to encourage students to nurture their entrepreneurial traits and think creatively to develop innovative ideas of products and services for commercial exploitation beyond the prototype stage. Mechanical Engineering is one of the primordial branches of engineering. The programme incorporates courses from the area of design, manufacturing, and thermal. To remain in sync with the industry, the programme offers compulsory core courses, department electives, interdisciplinary courses, open electives, and practice schools for industrial training. The associated laboratory work and projects provide an opportunity for hands-on experience and a better understanding of the course. On completion of the four year degree programme, students get equipped with a solid foundation in core mechanical engineering disciplines, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Automobile designers are professionals who work on the visual appearance or aesthetics of a vehicle. They are also involved in the creation of new products that suit the needs of car segments for which the design is being catered. Automobile Design and Engineering is a course offered in combination with electrical, electronics, safety, and software engineering. It is highly productive for those who want to work in automotive development and manufacturing companies. Skills required include an artistic bent of mind along with knowledge of interiors and colour designing. An aspirant should also have technical expertise in ergonomics, vehicle body part design, and design software.

This programme helps to make career in Big Data Analytics. Huge amount of raw, semi-structured and unstructured data is generating at uncontrollable pace. It features data as assets which can be used to analyse, correlate and predict. In almost every organisation, there is a requirement of Data Scientist and Data Analyst to perform data oriented tasks. Expertise in Big Data Analytics domain leads to handling of business intelligence, large scale data mining and data warehousing projects. Course covers dynamic paradigm in business analytics & optimisation, data warehousing & multi-dimensional modelling, Business Intelligence, and Web & Graph Analytics.

B.Des. in Interdisciplinary Design has a flexible curriculum that combines courses from the various domains and disciplines of Design with courses from other institutes of the university. This allows you to leverage new age technology, hone an entrepreneurial mindset and become adept at understanding form and aesthetics, visual language and user-centric approach to develop products and systems in any discipline.
Graduates of Interdisciplinary Design develop a curious mindset and can work in unfamiliar environments as they are trained to deal with ambiguity. With inputs in engineering and entrepreneurship, the Interdisciplinary Design student has a distinct advantage to act as a bridge between different functions in any environment or specialise later in a chosen field.

Interdisciplinary Design graduates find work in design firms that do cross disciplinary work, creative agencies, and startups that need design inputs. They are also singularly eligible to start their own agency. Many go further into a specialisation that they enjoyed in their undergraduate programme.
