The course objective is to provide students with an understanding of mobile computing technologies and how these technologies are utilised and integrated to meet specific business needs. The stream of Mobile Computing is specialisation and expertise oriented. The course also builds a solid foundation of software development skills and introduces the specific skills needed for developing mobile applications. Students will also gain a necessary understanding of current technologies and architectures that provide the network and communications infrastructure for mobile-enabled enterprise computer systems. Students will also develop skills in the design of modern network systems, using appropriate technologies, architectures and techniques.

Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in industrial development by shaping business, economy and society. It has now emerged as a viable profession that can be created and fostered through specific educational and training programs. Entrepreneurship is no longer about start-ups, venture capitalists and investors only but also about building an entrepreneurial mindset. Entrepreneurship is a crucial life skill that nurtures an innovative mindset for solving the needs, pains, and problems of the society and create a better world. B.Des. in Interdisciplinary Design has a flexible curriculum that combines courses from the various domains and disciplines of Design with courses from other institutes of the university. This allows you to leverage new age technology, hone an entrepreneurial mindset and become adept at understanding form and aesthetics, visual language and user-centric approach to develop products and systems in any discipline.
Graduates of Interdisciplinary Design develop a curious mindset and can work in unfamiliar environments as they are trained to deal with ambiguity. Interdisciplinary Design graduates find work in design firms that do cross disciplinary work, creative agencies, and startups that need design inputs. They are also singularly eligible to start their own agency. Many go further into a specialisation that they enjoyed in their undergraduate programme.
