The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering for the students to grasp enriched knowledge by IT industries driven curriculum. The major focus of this course is to nurture and sharpen student’s IT skills with project based learning. M.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology course is a masters’ level course for students keen to gain expertise in procedures for diagnostic testing in a laboratory. The course helps them analyze and identify substances, and microorganisms using common instruments found in a laboratory. Students are given in-depth knowledge of Chemistry, Human Biology, Organic Chemistry, Haematology, Bacteriology and Medical Technology and practical sessions in laboratory procedures, analysing various substances including glucose, enzymes, electrolytes, spectrometer, laboratory mathematics, and clinical applications.

The course addresses different aspects of agriculture including Forestry and Horticulture as well. The students are given in-depth knowledge of scientific agricultural practices and trending farming techniques. The idea is to upgrade their skills and nurture a professional attitude towards agricultural development. The focus of the course is to create professionals who work on promoting best practices in agriculture for rural and national development.

The B.Com (Hons.) course aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising there from. The course not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the personality of the students.

The Pharm D programme is an emerging concept globally focusing mainly on improving healthcare system for a better drug therapy by assisting medical practitioners. It is a clinical-oriented curriculum where the students would be trained to provide information about diseases, drugs and lifestyle modifications to the patients in a hospital environment and work on to improve the patient’s health condition.

The three-year full time regular course equips the students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The program involves in-depth laboratory work for students to gain expertise in the operational areas of Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety & Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.
The course pays attention to tactical and strategic management in areas like event management, financial management, human resource management, revenue management and entrepreneurship. Some of the foremost objectives of the course are also to develop research skills, complete a 6 months internship in the industry that too twice during the tenure of the course which will be able to deepen the knowledge in the field of Hospitality Industry.
