Radiography, a promineny paramedical professional course is meant to create professionals expert in diagnostic tests for medical treatment with the use of radiation. There is huge scope for Radiographers in Healthcare industry, Diagnostic Department, Intensive Care Units of Hospital and Operating Theatre. Department is situated on ground level of the Dental College which helps it to work in close association with departments of Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery for patient’s diagnosis and treatment planning. Optometry is the science of dealing with issues and problems related to the eye. A course in Optometry covers every aspect related to understanding the eye, problems, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illnesses and diseases etc. MM(DU) follows the Ministry of Health guidelines and offers lateral entry in Degree course to diploma holders in Optometry in the 3rd semester to balance the gaps in diploma programs. The program covers both clinical and theoretical aspects. Students would get in-depth understanding and training to treat Cornea, Glaucoma, Low vision and Retina.

MM(DU)offers B.Sc. Dialysis Therapy course for students keen to gain specialization in practice and usage of dialysis. The course prepares graduates who are competent and skilled to treat various diseases related to kidney and perform dialysis on patients suffering from kidney failure. Students are given in-depth training for using the equipment for dialysis treatment, water treatment monitoring, dialyses reprocessing, vascular access monitoring and also about direct patient care. We also train the students in dialysis prescription interpretation, safety and sanitation, emergency interventions, and professional standards and ethics.
