The Department conducts state of the art training of undergraduates & postgraduates in diagnosis & treatment planning of malocclusions in patients. Further they are educated, guided and trained regarding the ill effects and treatment of malocclusions in different types of patients. The students are also made aware of motivational skills so as to motivate the patients to undergo treatment. In a nutshell the students are able to provide best treatment using contemporary techniques.

The syllabus is designed in such a way to make the students aware of preclinical and clinical experimental studies and provide them advanced training in various fields of pharmacology like molecular level, basic level and clinical level.  Excellent experiments are carried out in each of these areas, which equip the student with skills for research. M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) helps the students to understand clinical uses of drugs in treatment of diseases, concept of drug action and adverse effects of drugs.

3-year full-time course having 6 semesters which accentuates to develop skilled manpower in the different fields of computer application like: Database Management System, Software Development, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Web based applications etc.

The programme is designed to generate employable IT workforce having sound knowledge of IT which can be used to produce and customize solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology program is a focused program that offers students the opportunity to acquire business management skills and hospitality finesse needed to develop a career in the expanding hotel and restaurant industry. An array of career possibilities is available to graduates in the areas of professional management in restaurants, hotels, resorts, hospitals, institutions, conferencing and catering, and recreation management.

Optometry is the science of dealing with issues and problems related to the eye. A course in Optometry covers every aspect related to understanding the eye, problems, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illnesses and diseases etc. MM(DU) follows the Ministry of Health guidelines and offers lateral entry in Degree course to diploma holders in Optometry in the 3rd semester to balance the gaps in diploma programs. The program covers both clinical and theoretical aspects. Students would get in-depth understanding and training to treat Cornea, Glaucoma, Low vision and Retina.

B.A.LL.B. course provides the students a great opportunity to explore the theoretical & practical knowledge of this field. B.A.LL.B. course provides options to work as litigating lawyers and corporate lawyers. The idea behind the course is to groom the students with a sound understanding of the fundamentals of legal profession. The course is designed to help the students explore and develop multiple skills ranging from analytical thinking to effective communication. The course addresses different aspects of agriculture including Forestry and Horticulture as well. The Prosthodontics Department is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in several areas: Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Occlusion and TMJ Dysfunction, Dental Implants and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. The postgraduate programme is designed for advanced training in the rehabilitation of completely edentulous, partially edentulous patients and patients requiring Implants and Maxillofacial prosthesis.

The academic schedule is designed to include seminars, journal club presentations, case presentations and a dissertation. Courses are evaluated and updated annually for contents and are augmented with technology to teach the latest techniques in Prosthodontics within comprehensive treatment planning, Implant Dentistry, Occlusion and Aesthetics. We further aim to pursue research of high quality, and to constantly improve on our teaching techniques/methods.

Masters degree programme in Pharmaceutics is aimed to achieve the Postgraduates an advanced knowledge both in theoretical and applied topics; high order skills in analysis, critical evaluation and professional application; think differently and independently to solve complex problems related to research and pharmaceutical processes.

The B.Com (Hons.) course aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising there from. The course not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the personality of the students.
