It is a specialized course that helps the students gain an in-depth knowledge of the concepts of Food chemistry, Food Engineering and Food Preservation. This is a highly industry-specific course.

Course Objective

• To make students aware about the concepts of Food chemistry, Food Engineering and Food Preservation

MM(DU)offers B.Sc. Dialysis Therapy course for students keen to gain specialization in practice and usage of dialysis. The course prepares graduates who are competent and skilled to treat various diseases related to kidney and perform dialysis on patients suffering from kidney failure. Students are given in-depth training for using the equipment for dialysis treatment, water treatment monitoring, dialyses reprocessing, vascular access monitoring and also about direct patient care. We also train the students in dialysis prescription interpretation, safety and sanitation, emergency interventions, and professional standards and ethics.

The Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at the Maharashi Markandeshwar College of Dental Science & Research Mullana aims at the diagnosis and treatment of dental caries and its sequel, maltormations, discoloration thereby restoring the teeth to its normal form and function with a pleasing aesthetics. The department has modern dental units with separate UG and air conditioned PG clinics. The clinics are fully loaded with all the latest instruments and dental materials like RVG,Surgical Operating Microscope ,Endoactivator,Thermoplastic obturation system,Endodmotor etc. There is an ample flow of patients for clinical training and an opportunity for students to increase their skills.The department has full fledge experienced faculty all of who are committed to excellence in all fields. B.A.LL.B. course provides the students a great opportunity to explore the theoretical & practical knowledge of this field. An MLT is an important part of Medical team with full knowledge of diagnosis, prevention and timely treatment of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. As a professional, you would play a key role in identifying abnormalities in the samples such as malignancies, pathogens, or genetic abnormalities.

The syllabus is designed in such a way to make the students aware of preclinical and clinical experimental studies and provide them advanced training in various fields of pharmacology like molecular level, basic level and clinical level.  Excellent experiments are carried out in each of these areas, which equip the student with skills for research. M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) helps the students to understand clinical uses of drugs in treatment of diseases, concept of drug action and adverse effects of drugs.

BASLP, Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, is a four-year programme that covers every aspects related to techniques and methods used in diagnosing and curing hearing, speech, and balance-related disorders amongst individuals. Disorders related to speaking and listening are studied in-depth in this course and then students are trained to treat these disorders and facilitate recovery of the patients.

The course explores extensive opportunities available in the world of commercial and legal practice. The students are given in-depth knowledge of every aspect of law along with skills training to communicate, both orally and in writing, to think critically and creatively, and to access, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information. The course B.Com.LL.B.(Honors) aims to provide the opportunity in law with combination of commerce and management .

Radiography is the science of taking images of the internal and hidden portions of the human body for diagnostic purpose Using Ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan, MRI, etc. comes under the realm of Radiography. Radiography, a promineny paramedical professional course is meant to create professionals expert in diagnostic tests for medical treatment with the use of radiation. There is huge scope for Radiographers in Healthcare industry, Diagnostic Department, Intensive Care Units of Hospital and Operating Theatre. It is worth mentioning that radiographers who can perform the ultrasound test are known as sonographers.

Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre Technology is an industry-oriented course which prepares the students for a challenging and highly rewarding career in a hospital, nursing homes, trauma/emergency centers, Intensive Care units, CSSD etc. Graduates are eligible for employment overseas where their qualifications, training and experience are highly regarded. With further experience, graduates may be employed by medical equipment manufacturers and development specialists.
