The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. As Digital Technologies occupy the central space in every industry, the Masters course is focused on imparting in-depth knowledge of various aspects of Computer Science and Information Technology to the students. B. Sc. in Cardiovascular technology (B.Sc-CVT) is an industry-oriented course with focus on training students in of cardiovascular disease management and care. Students are given in-depth understanding and training to acquire skills for management of various cardiac disorders. The graduates can work as Cardiac Technologists who assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac (heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) conditions. They play a crucial role during open-heart surgery or for implanting pacemakers or while monitoring patients during these procedures.

B.Pharm course focuses on medicinal chemistry, organic as well as inorganic aspects of chemistry. It also includes concepts of Bio-chemistry, Health education and Human anatomy and highlights the uses, effect and action of drugs on body (Pharmacology, Pathophysiology) as part of the curriculum. This program teaches the process of turning a chemical into a drug which is called physical pharmaceutics, Bio-pharmaceutics plus pharmaceutical technology. Apart from this Herbal drug technology is also part of the curriculum.

MM(DU)offers B.Sc. Dialysis Therapy course for students keen to gain specialization in practice and usage of dialysis. The course prepares graduates who are competent and skilled to treat various diseases related to kidney and perform dialysis on patients suffering from kidney failure. Students are given in-depth training for using the equipment for dialysis treatment, water treatment monitoring, dialyses reprocessing, vascular access monitoring and also about direct patient care. We also train the students in dialysis prescription interpretation, safety and sanitation, emergency interventions, and professional standards and ethics.

Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology program is a focused program that offers students the opportunity to acquire business management skills and hospitality finesse needed to develop a career in the expanding hotel and restaurant industry. An array of career possibilities is available to graduates in the areas of professional management in restaurants, hotels, resorts, hospitals, institutions, conferencing and catering, and recreation management.

Optometry is the science of dealing with issues and problems related to the eye. A course in Optometry covers every aspect related to understanding the eye, problems, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illnesses and diseases etc. MM(DU) follows the Ministry of Health guidelines and offers lateral entry in Degree course to diploma holders in Optometry in the 3rd semester to balance the gaps in diploma programs. The program covers both clinical and theoretical aspects. Students would get in-depth understanding and training to treat Cornea, Glaucoma, Low vision and Retina.

An advanced undergraduate degree in Nursing to prepare the students to create a lucrative career in the field of nursing by training them in holistic nursing care in sync with global standards. With ever-increasing emphasis on healthcare, the demand for professionally trained nurses is also on a rise. Nursing field is considered one of the best choices for medically-inclined youth. This course trains the students in comprehensive patient care and different aspects of nursing like community health nursing, ICU nursing, critical care nursing etc.      

The undergraduate degree in Nursing is to provide an educational programme through which the graduates will be prepared to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary, and tertiary care of people as professional nurses. It is expected that graduates are capable of teaching and supervising appropriate nursing and health care in different setting and participate in the administration of nursing service and education. This programme provides the basis for the masteral programme in nursing.

The Department imparts the knowledge of the principles of health promotion and disease prevention among the students. It also helps to achieve knowledge of community based preventive measure and knowledge of social, cultural and environmental factors which contribute to health. The students will be able to administer Oral Hygiene instructions, topical fluoride therapy and fissure sealants to the patients. The department also imparts education regarding the etiology and prevention of Oral Disease and encouraging them by assuring responsibility of their Oral Health. Further the students are also trained to develop and prepare charts, models, posters and visuals on Oral Health Themes with the intention to educate the mass about the importance of Oral Health.
