The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery deals with teaching, evaluating, carrying out research in and providing surgical healthcare services in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma, diseases, deformities and defects of the face and jaws.

Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre Technology is an industry-oriented course which prepares the students for a challenging and highly rewarding career in a hospital, nursing homes, trauma/emergency centers, Intensive Care units, CSSD etc. Graduates are eligible for employment overseas where their qualifications, training and experience are highly regarded. Master of Physiotherapy program offered by MM (DU), Mullana is designed to meet the international standards and is recognized by the IAP. BASLP, Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, is a four-year programme that covers every aspects related to techniques and methods used in diagnosing and curing hearing, speech, and balance-related disorders amongst individuals. Disorders related to speaking and listening are studied in-depth in this course and then students are trained to treat these disorders and facilitate recovery of the patients.

There is huge scope for Radiographers in Healthcare industry, Diagnostic Department, Intensive Care Units of Hospital and Operating Theatre. It is worth mentioning that radiographers who can perform the ultrasound test are known as sonographers.

The course pays attention to tactical and strategic management in areas like event management, financial management, human resource management, revenue management and entrepreneurship. Some of the foremost objectives of the course are also to develop research skills, complete a 6 months internship in the industry that too twice during the tenure of the course which will be able to deepen the knowledge in the field of Hospitality Industry.

MM(DU) offers B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), a dedicated course that helps the students evolve as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist. An MLT is an important part of Medical team with full knowledge of diagnosis, prevention and timely treatment of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. As a professional, you would play a key role in identifying abnormalities in the samples such as malignancies, pathogens, or genetic abnormalities.

The Department conducts state of the art training of undergraduates & postgraduates in diagnosis & treatment planning of malocclusions in patients. Further they are educated, guided and trained regarding the ill effects and treatment of malocclusions in different types of patients. The students are also made aware of motivational skills so as to motivate the patients to undergo treatment. In a nutshell the students are able to provide best treatment using contemporary techniques.
