Electrical Engineering is a core and an evergreen branch of Engineering. An Electrical Engineer can focus on skill-based learning in various area of Electricity and its applications, such as generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of energy, Instrumentation & Control, Switch-gear & Automation Engineering, Panel Design Engineering, Energy Management and Audit and most importantly in electrical equipment maintenance and repair field also.

This curriculum is designed in such a way that it can fulfill the following objectives:

• Students will be able to modify, maintain and repair electrical networks and machines for the real-life problems.
• Students will be able to evaluate the technical problem and will be able to suggest cost effective solutions using modern tools and technology.
• Students will be able to apply their skills for the sustained development of industry and society.
• Students will be able to demonstrate professional ethics, good communication and leadership capabilities for continued success enabling him to enjoy the life.

To achieve these diverse objectives, Electrical Engineering Department will strive to identify experienced, committed and dedicated staff who are constantly updating themselves by attending various seminars, workshop as well as interaction with industry and imparting their knowledge amongst the students. The students are also encouraged to convert their conceptual knowledge to practical implementation and the department has laboratories well equipped with state of art technology.

A two-year PG program offered to provide a broad knowledge and practical experience in VLSI Design with fundamentals in ASIC design, Digital and Analog design with six areas identified for Professional electives handled by Ph.D. qualified and experienced faculty members. The program boasts of an exclusive well equipped lab with state-of-the-art EDA tools, FPGA & embedded processor based development boards and computing facilities that is available to student use during regular and beyond regular course schedule. Students have access well equipped library with quality textbooks & reference books, and e-journals including IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and others. The program allows students to complete their Master’s thesis internally under the guidance of our faculty or externally through Industry experts with a strong emphasis on research and development.

The status of the legal profession and the task of legal professionals have undergone a radical change in the past two decades. The current global business and legal practice requires the skill which should be helpful to tackle any type of legal issue arising in future. The Faculty of Law, Marwadi University one of the top Law Schools in India offer our LLM (Master of Law) programme aimed to inculcate student’s legal knowledge and opens the door for more and more opportunities in India and abroad.

The LL.M. programme is a one-year degree program that help students who are enthusiastic in enhancing their knowledge in particular area of law. This is equally useful for the practicing lawyers as well as the students who are interested to build up their career in teaching and research. Due to the diversity of our students and faculty members coming from different states and nations, the Programme will be more interesting and also intellectually probing since sharing of thoughtful ideas from different places will happen. Apart from the compulsory courses in the programme scheme, we are also offering special courses for Professional Development, Language Support etc.

“Computer Engineering” focuses specifically on computer hardware and software. It is an integration of computer science and electrical engineering, a field that touches just about every segment of our lives today, from the cars we drive to the movies we watch to the many ways we all interact with each other (not to mention with businesses and government).

Computer engineering is much more than programming; it is about inventing and building solutions. It is the most creative field where a computer engineer is an artist whose canvas may be a smartphone or PC display and whose paints and brushes are programming languages and development environments. Can you now imagine a world without Instagram, Snap-chat, Facebook, or Twitter? With a major in computer engineering degree, only sky is the limit.

Computer Engineering is one of the key programmes that serves nearly every domain of our society. An increasing demand for digitization in recent years has led to a growing demand for skilled computer engineers. The following are the main objectives:

Keeping in view the employment opportunities of diploma holders in Chemical Engineering, the course is aimed at developing following knowledge and skills in the students:

• Basic understanding of concepts and principles related to applied sciences as a foundation for further studies.
• Development of communication and interpersonal skills for effective functioning in the world of work.
• Understanding of basic concepts and principles of chemical engineering, so as to enable the students to apply the knowledge and technical skills of these principles to the field of chemical engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings related to plant layout, process equipment and components.
• Knowledge of various materials used in chemical processes, their properties and specifications,
• Knowledge and associated skills of various unit operations, unit processes and process instrumentation in process industry.

Educational Objective of Diploma Studies focuses on skill and abilities of students with fundamentals of the discipline and base on professional training. The result sought by the learner at the end of the educational program, i.e. what the diploma students should be able to do at the end of a learning period, that they could not do earlier. Mechanical Engineer should able to design, analyze and improve practical systems. Mechanical Engineer will show the ability to communicate effectively and work well on team-based engineering projects.

Mechanical Engineering student outcomes are stated as:

• They can use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
• Diploma Engineer will be able to work professionally in the area of thermal engineering.
• Students will also prepare a major technical project, which demonstrates his learning and capability.

With the evolution of the computer era, electronics and networking have developed into an imminent field that nearly all businesses need. Electronics is now part of our daily lives, from cell phones to televisions, laptops and even sophisticated high-end satellites that help us live a smooth life. Also, communications and system engineering are the main driving force behind the latest revolution in information technology. Electronics and Communication research has since reached other fields such as healthcare, instrumentation, robotics, remote sensing, signal processing, etc. Students of communication and system engineering thus have a great deal of application in a number of industries.

• To create best research environment in the field of wireless systems, embedded devices, antennas, optical communications.

This is a three years course following semester system. In three years, consisting six semesters, each semester will be consisting subjects each with 48 hours of classroom interactions. A typical week will be of FIVE working days and of 30 hours, including classroom teaching, library sessions and other assignments and practicing sessions.

Structural Engineering is a special branch of Civil Engineering/Applied Mechanics which focuses on the use of the analysis and design of various structure that includes residential building, public building, bridges, roof trusses, and its components like walls, beams, columns and foundation. The scope is not limited to only design of the structure it also includes dynamic forces like wind analysis, earthquake and ensure the stability and safety of the structures. It is also concerned with developing the new materials for its use as an engineering material the students pursuing this course study about ideas and various research methods to prevent any damage to structure during entire design period of the structure it should stand without cracks and excessive deformation. Further, it also includes the repair and rehabilitation of the distressed structures. With the increase in infrastructure demand all over the world including India, professionals with Structural Engineering are in high demand in Core companies, MNC consultancy firms, Government sectors, Railways and Bridge construction as well as in academics and R & D sectors.

• To prepare students with the technical knowledge and skills needed to protect and defend computer systems and networks.
• To develop skills in students that can help them plan, implement, and monitor cyber security mechanisms to ensure the protection of information technology assets.
• To develop students that can identify, analyze, and solve computer security breaches.
