Electrical Engineering is one of the largest and fastest growing fields which generally deals with the study and application of energy- generation, transmission and distribution, electrical motors and drives, measurement, control and automation. The mission of the department is to offer quality instruction and undertake scholarly research that engages each student in a challenging electrical engineering education and prepares graduates for the full range of career opportunities in the high technology marketplace, enabling them to reach their fullest potential as a professional and as a member of society. It is also one of the most challenging branches with a blend of challenging subjects like Engineering Mathematics, circuit and networks, power system, Control Systems, Power Electronics and drives, Switchgear and Protection, Renewable energy etc.

Due to diversities in industry requirement electrical engineering has been subdivided into various specializations like High Voltage Engineering, Power system engineering, renewable energy and technology, control and automations, power electronics and drives. Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is designed by Marwadi University to equip the graduates with knowledge, understanding and skills required in modern financial and accounting field. The Bachelor of Physiotherapy program shall be under the Faculty of physiotherapy. A two-year PG program offered to provide a broad knowledge and practical experience in VLSI Design with fundamentals in ASIC design, Digital and Analog design with six areas identified for Professional electives handled by Ph.D. qualified and experienced faculty members. The program boasts of an exclusive well equipped lab with state-of-the-art EDA tools, FPGA & embedded processor based development boards and computing facilities that is available to student use during regular and beyond regular course schedule.
