This is a three years course following semester system. In three years, consisting six semesters, each semester will be consisting subjects each with 48 hours of classroom interactions. A typical week will be of FIVE working days and of 30 hours, including classroom teaching, library sessions and other assignments and practicing sessions.

• Apply basic mathematical and statistical skills necessary for analysis of a range of problems in economics, actuarial studies, accounting, marketing, management and finance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the theories, concepts and findings of the various specializations.
• Develop viable alternatives and make effective decisions relating to business ethics and social responsibility.

This Program is a gateway to a career in the field of Financial Market, offering positions into various lucrative finance profiles. Students enrolled in BBA (Financial Markets) program get 8 NCFM certificates along with a 3-year bachelor’s degree in BBA (Financial Markets). Students are also trained to work on NLT software of NSE which is used in the financial market and thus students develop real life market skills. Marwadi University is the pioneer in launching BBA (Financial Markets) program in Saurashtra.

Chemical Engineering is a branch of engineering that provides the necessary knowledge to convert raw materials into useful products within the realm of economy and profit. Its knowledge further helps to optimize the existing manufacturing processes thereby achieving an economical cost of production.

Today, when more emphasis is given to reduction in production cost and innovation, Chemical Engineers are in huge demand in India and worldwide. Graduate Chemical Engineers find themselves working in Chemical-Production Facilities, Plant-Designing, Marketing, Environmental-Protection Auditing, Research and Development, and many such new-age professions.

Objective
Following are the Educational Objectives of the Department of Chemical Engineering:

• Have technological skills, soft skills, and social skills towards industry readiness and for contribution to society.

Electrical Engineering is a core and an evergreen branch of Engineering. An Electrical Engineer can focus on skill-based learning in various area of Electricity and its applications, such as generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of energy, Instrumentation & Control, Switch-gear & Automation Engineering, Panel Design Engineering, Energy Management and Audit and most importantly in electrical equipment maintenance and repair field also.

This curriculum is designed in such a way that it can fulfill the following objectives:

• Students will be able to modify, maintain and repair electrical networks and machines for the real-life problems.
• Students will be able to evaluate the technical problem and will be able to suggest cost effective solutions using modern tools and technology.
• Students will be able to apply their skills for the sustained development of industry and society.
• Students will be able to demonstrate professional ethics, good communication and leadership capabilities for continued success enabling him to enjoy the life.

To achieve these diverse objectives, Electrical Engineering Department will strive to identify experienced, committed and dedicated staff who are constantly updating themselves by attending various seminars, workshop as well as interaction with industry and imparting their knowledge amongst the students. The students are also encouraged to convert their conceptual knowledge to practical implementation and the department has laboratories well equipped with state of art technology.

Architectural education in the country has witnessed quite a few changes with increase in the number of institutions imparting architectural education, mostly the self-financed ones. Amongst the other issues such as, new thrust areas in academics, intake and quality of entrants, physical infrastructure and financing of private institutions and most importantly, most institutions are faced with the shortage of qualified and experienced teachers for qualitative learning. We also agree that curriculum in architecture is exhaustive and never ending as it involves long hours, and rather perplexing with instructions that turn out to be diametrically opposite. On one hand if the lessons are so fascinating, the other might find it fraught with the mundane baggage. The student soon begins to view architectural instruction nebulous in character and wonder if there is any purpose in continuing with architecture at all. Besides the general complaint that, the fresh graduate is not equipped to meet the challenges of the profession. The young architect lacks professional competencies.

Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is designed by Marwadi University to equip the graduates with knowledge, understanding and skills required in modern financial and accounting field. It enhances student’s proficiency in understanding trade and industry and current scenario of Indian and Global economy through continuous learning and improvements in disciplines of banking, finance, insurance, taxation, accounting, economics, and statistics.

PG program “Electric Vehicle” is carefully designed to produce skilled and talented manpower required for the Electric Vehicle (EV) industries. Graduate from any eligible branch can enroll for the course. On fulfillment of all requirement, post graduate degree of M.Tech in Electrical Engineering will be conferred with specialization in “Electric Vehicle”.
