Transportation Engineering is a special branch of Civil Engineering which focuses on the various modes of Transportation that includes road ways, bridges, rail ways, marine ways and air ways. It is involved with analysis and design of the transportation routes for men and material movements. The scope is not limited to only design of the Transportation routes but it also includes design of the signaling, traffic managements as well as pavement materials for Transportations.
