Microbiology, one of the three classical disciplines in the biological sciences, is an extremely diverse and complex field, dealing with the study of shape, structure (morphology), genetic and metabolic processes in microscopic and sub-microscopic organisms. It is a constantly changing and advancing science, spawning the evolution of modern scientific disciplines with practical applications for diverse areas including microbial biotechnology, genetic engineering, immunology, molecular biology, and genomics. The program equips the students with the advanced knowledge and skills required to embark on future research or employment in industries striving to solve major global challenges in the health, energy, and environmental sectors.

Psychology is one of the important disciplines in the area of behavioral sciences. It is the scientific study of human behavior. In the present era of stress and change, there has been a rapid increase in the demand of professionals in the various fields of Psychology. Considering such requirements, the postgraduate programme in Psychology aims to create experts in the fields of Guidance and Counselling Psychology as well as in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Specialization in Clinical Psychology is also offered.

Bachelor of Business Administration is an undergraduate Business Management course. This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of Management education and to train the students in communication skills effectively which inculcate entrepreneurship skills.

An Economics undergraduate can understand the complexities in the working of the economy. It provides a sound theoretical basis in economic theory supplemented by practical applications. Future Prospects: B.A. in economics opens doors to a range of career options, not only in business but also in consulting. The program prepares students to undertake careers in the banking and insurance sector, teaching, and research, international agencies, multinational corporations, civil services, as economic analysts in the financial sector and postgraduate studies in economics, business and public administration, teaching and research, etc.

The program offers extensive knowledge and expertise in food making, research, and development. A food scientist studies the nature and quality of food along with designing and managing food processing equipment. It includes coursework in areas of nutrition, food packaging, quality control management, basic food chemistry, and human physiology, etc. This course familiarizes the students with advanced-level developments of new and healthy eating trends. They are trained to tackle issues such as the nutritional significance of processed food in the diet, functional food items, the importance of nutrition labeling and nutrition claims, catering technology, and nutritional quality. Alongside developing current techniques in food analysis, food structure, and food processing, the students are imparted with advanced lessons in nutraceuticals and their relationship to health and diseases.

This program is designed in such a way that imbibes contemporary knowledge and skillsets among budding managers. Painting, Sculpture, Applied, Print, and Graphic design are the core areas of Visual Arts moreover it needs to be treated in the most contemporary manner where a direct bridge can be created to the industry. We at the department teach fine art in such a way that it can serve to masses and not limited to niche segments only. The Digital version of Painting, Sculpture, Applied, and Print plays a very crucial role for the same, our pedagogy follows this pattern while keeping all the classical methodology. For example, painting on canvas may be a single piece and will serve as a limitation whereas on-screen through digital format gives you more freedom to explore and to reach masses.
