Microbiology, one of the three classical disciplines in the biological sciences, is an extremely diverse and complex field, dealing with the study of shape, structure (morphology), genetic and metabolic processes in microscopic and sub-microscopic organisms. It is a constantly changing and advancing science, spawning the evolution of modern scientific disciplines with practical applications for diverse areas including microbial biotechnology, genetic engineering, immunology, molecular biology, and genomics. The Ph.D. programme is appropriate for candidates who wish to become academicians or seek to advance research in design and merchandising domains. Ph.D. in Design, Fashion & Merchandising aims to impart knowledge about the nature of design research, especially in relation to the responsible role of designers in propelling our society towards a more sustainable future. It is designed for highly creative and motivated professionals who wish to conduct rigorous and intensive design research.

The world is going through a transition phase where each and every element of the same needs utmost care and requires reshaping through holistic design & its communication. Attention to be given in a more methodological manner. Goes without saying that Art, Design & Communication play the most important role in this correction time and the same must be designed for its disseminator.

The curriculum of this course is completely based on the model curriculum of the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and is at-par with National Law Universities.

The Department of Visual Arts at Mody University keeps its vision to harmonize the society through its most modern art and artists. Painting, Sculpture, Applied, Print, and Graphic design are the core areas of Visual Arts moreover it needs to be treated in the most contemporary manner where a direct bridge can be created to the industry. We at the department teach fine art in such a way that it can serve to masses and not limited to niche segments only. The Digital version of Painting, Sculpture, Applied, and Print plays a very crucial role for the same, our pedagogy follows this pattern while keeping all the classical methodology. For example, painting on canvas may be a single piece and will serve as a limitation whereas on-screen through digital format gives you more freedom to explore and to reach masses.
