Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

This degree program is designed to help individuals develop the understanding necessary to successfully manage a business owned and operated by a family. Classes typically teach topics such as ownership control, succession and strategic relationships. P.G. Diploma in Research and Innovation (Jindal Fellowship Programme) aims to enhance research potential and capacity of students interested in pursuing research-based careers in the social sciences and humanities. The programme is designed to take students’ undergraduate education to the next level by enabling them to achieve in-depth understanding of the domains they have begun to explore.

As a PG Diploma in Research and Innovation (Jindal Fellowship Programme) scholar, the student will have an academic mentor for the whole year, working with her/his research ideas as well as an expert supervisor, who will guide her/him through the research internship of four months.

• During the first semester, students finish required and optional coursework. In the second, they complete a four-month long internship, preferably within a Research Centre in JGU.

Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities is India’s first transnational humanities school. It’s B.A. Hons. Liberal Arts and Humanities programme adopts an innovative pedagogy and focuses on a strong interdisciplinary foundation in arts, social sciences and humanities subjects, with specialisations in specific areas.

The study of liberal arts inspires the development of the whole person through rigorous reading and writing, along with active experiential learning inside and outside the classroom, in an atmosphere of academic and intellectual freedom, a close faculty-student engagement, and small classes. B.A. Liberal Arts students graduate with the knowledge, flexible range of skills, aptitudes, and a life-long curiosity and love of learning. They will be prepared for a world of possibilities to explore future opportunities in the field of arts and humanities.

Over the first two years of the Bachelor of Arts degree, students train in the foundational aspects of the liberal arts through core courses in humanities and social sciences. They also study electives at JSLH and across the 12 different schools at JGU. To get first hand industry experience, liberal arts students also undertake one-month internships between every semester. In the final year of the programme they choose a major – one subject – as an area for concentrated study and also write a thesis. The thesis is a detailed work of substantial length and depth over a subject specialism chosen from the liberal arts courses covered during the programme.

The LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes at JGLS are offered under the aegis of the CGLS. Jindal Global University offers a well-designed undergraduate curriculum through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that leads students to proficiency in the Spanish language and familiarity with Hispanic cultures. The duration of the BA (Hons.) Spanish programme is three years (six semesters) full time. The curriculum ensures wide and deep engagement of students with a variety of cultural forms, including literature, drama and other arts (e.g., cinema, music). Students of the programme will have opportunities to be tested for Spanish proficiency certificates that are awarded by official cultural agencies. Many courses of the BA (Hons.) Spanish programme will also be open to students pursuing other degrees.

The programme enables students to attain B2 Spanish proficiency level at the end of the program by completing stages of language learning specified by the internationally accepted Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF). This programme will provide students with the opportunity to develop skills through combination of traditional and practical knowledge, and perspectives on issues of finance and corporate affairs.

Jindal School of Banking & Finance offers the three-year fully residential B.A. Hons. Finance and Entrepreneurship programme with aim to provide students with hands-on training intending to prepare the students to create new products and services aiming to develop an entrepreneurial mindset with a practical understanding of finance in a dynamic environment.

The three-year fully residential B.Com. (Hons.) B.A. Economics graduates from JSGP must be able to understand the interrelation between the economy and society: to consider economic problems from a global perspective and take a local approach to solve them; to make connections between an economic system’s different components; to gauge the implications of decisions related to economic policy; and to respond to the economic problems arising from society in general and the different units that interact therein (e.g. institutions, private companies and sectors of the economy).
