The BA (Hons.) English (Language and Literature) programme is a well-designed curriculum delivered through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that, first, leads students to mastery of the English language, and second, encourages their intensive engagement with literary and performative cultures expressed in the English language. While ‘literature in English’ is not the same thing as world literature, the English language is by now arguably the most important medium of world literature.

The undergraduate English degree the world over is known for its versatility and enduring value; although BA English is a pre-professional degree, it opens many doors to personal fulfilment and professional accomplishment. Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

Financial Markets  programme  will be able to understand the different product and services offered by financial markets and institutions. They will have understanding of various financial data sources and will be equipped with various tools and techniques to analyse financial data and draw meaningful inferences. Our students of BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets  will also be able to understand and participate in policy debates related to innovation in products and services offered by these markets and institutions. Aspirants of this program should have good analytical and quantitative skills and must have keen interest in learning about the dynamic and evolving financial markets and related institutions.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B (Hons)) programme since its inception in 2009. Through a combination of courses in Arts and Law subjects, the programme is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.

• The B.A. LL.B course provides a holistic understanding of the legal discipline through a combination of humanities, and law. This multidisciplinary approach equips the students to apply the law to the facts.

B.A. (Hons.) Finance Entrepreneurship is an innovative programme that combines entrepreneurial skills and creative abilities with focused training in finance and practical knowledge of technology. This programme will provide students with the opportunity to develop skills through combination of traditional and practical knowledge, and perspectives on issues of finance and corporate affairs.

Jindal School of Banking & Finance offers the three-year fully residential B.A. Hons. Finance and Entrepreneurship programme with aim to provide students with hands-on training intending to prepare the students to create new products and services aiming to develop an entrepreneurial mindset with a practical understanding of finance in a dynamic environment.

The objective of the Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA, 5 year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. Activities like live projects, field assignments and simulation games will form an integral part of the programme.

Field work such as the India Dream Project, Business Internship and Team-Consulting Assignment will help achieve holistic learning and also provide for a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary business environment. Option for a Post Graduate Degree Abroad: In the fifth year, students have the option to enroll for 1-year MS Degree with a partner foreign university subject to the terms and conditions of the host university.

P.G. Diploma in Research and Innovation (Jindal Fellowship Programme) aims to enhance research potential and capacity of students interested in pursuing research-based careers in the social sciences and humanities. The programme is designed to take students’ undergraduate education to the next level by enabling them to achieve in-depth understanding of the domains they have begun to explore.

As a PG Diploma in Research and Innovation (Jindal Fellowship Programme) scholar, the student will have an academic mentor for the whole year, working with her/his research ideas as well as an expert supervisor, who will guide her/him through the research internship of four months.

The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment.
