The B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sustainable Development uniquely combines natural and social sciences with humanities to equip students with a thorough understanding of sustainable development and its many facets. The programme is distinguishable from the B.A. in Environmental Studies based on its specific focus on the Sustainable Development Goals and its emphasis on scientific knowledge.

The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. The program combines course from design and the liberal arts to produce professionals who are committed to understanding and making our built environment just, safe and equitable. Graduate of this program would be part of a team of professionals who ensure that building designs and construction happens in a manner that is historically sensitive, contextually appropriate and both pleasing and sensitive to the needs of its inhabitants

The objective of the Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA, 5 year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. This programme will create excellent managers and also instill the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. The MPH is a research-intensive two-year postgraduate degree programme that enables students to attain foundational training, skills and competencies to embark on a career in public health both in the Indian and global context. Building on the level of internationalization at JGU, the programme introduces students to a multiplicity of approaches and seeks to build competencies through a range of core courses, electives, specializations, dissertations and capstone options. In addition, students have the options of undertaking semester exchange and study abroad programmes with key institutions and centers of excellence in public health. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights (B.A. (Hons.) in Human Rights) programme. The programme is designed in keeping with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Since its recognition as a right through Magna Carta, human rights have found a cardinal place in societies, irrespective of the nature of society or the form of government. The pan human perspective of human rights helped all members of society-irrespective of their class, creed, community, gender, and nationality-to become bearers of the rights. With the evolution of society from medieval monarchies to more advanced forms of social governance in modernity, human rights have become broader and inclusive. Our globalizing society has witnessed the rise of human rights as a profession, mainly under the aegis of the United Nations (UN) through various general and particular programmes of aid and assistance. These programmes percolated to the national, regional, and local levels through many sub-national human rights initiatives and activities. The activities spanned over areas, e.g., community services, charity, awareness building, investigation, research, policy-making, legal advice, and cause lawyering.

The Bachelor of Design is a professional degree program for students who wish to work towards improving the inhabited spaces through experimental, experiential, and informed design processes. The program teaches students to imagine, propose, test and refine their ideas about how to live and dwell in the contemporary world and trains students in the knowledge systems that help anticipate changes in the future built environments (from domestic to urban scale). The program uniquely places student-centred inquiry as the core learning, through a sequential studio sequence culminating in a customized capstone design project. These courses are taught by internationally-trained design professors. The professional practice courses include new forms of social and technical knowledge: diversity, sustainability, digital representations and professional ethics. Other features of the program comprise diverse, customizable electives, a flexible system of minors in multiple subjects taught across schools within the university. This is a program for students with ambition, imagination and curiosity who wish to imagine and lead the design of a better world, and wishes to become knowledgeable and influential future design professions.
