The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. The program combines course from design and the liberal arts to produce professionals who are committed to understanding and making our built environment just, safe and equitable. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights (B.A. (Hons.) in Human Rights) programme. The programme is designed in keeping with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Since its recognition as a right through Magna Carta, human rights have found a cardinal place in societies, irrespective of the nature of society or the form of government. The pan human perspective of human rights helped all members of society-irrespective of their class, creed, community, gender, and nationality-to become bearers of the rights. With the evolution of society from medieval monarchies to more advanced forms of social governance in modernity, human rights have become broader and inclusive. Our globalizing society has witnessed the rise of human rights as a profession, mainly under the aegis of the United Nations (UN) through various general and particular programmes of aid and assistance. These programmes percolated to the national, regional, and local levels through many sub-national human rights initiatives and activities. The activities spanned over areas, e.g., community services, charity, awareness building, investigation, research, policy-making, legal advice, and cause lawyering.

The B.A. (Hons.) Diplomacy and Foreign Policy programme aims to equip students with an overview of the various instruments a state may use to pursue its foreign policy in a complex and challenging world order at the intersection of a detailed consideration of the constraints and limits it faces in the international domain, emanating from the rise/fall of globalisation, social and economic rights, and communication technologies which are central to media-based public diplomacy. It is the first and only unique Bachelor’s degree programme in India which integrates the study of related fields of foreign policy in the context of preservation of a state’s sovereignty and national interests, decision-making models of national leaders, hard and soft power in a fast-changing world order, and the essentials of statecraft– all combined into a single seamless Bachelor’s degree. This programme ensures that students gain a comprehensive foundation for understanding and applying classroom learnings as well as shaping their careers. Students will be introduced to diverse ideas and concepts of statehood and nationhood, national interest and diplomacy, the interaction between foreign policy formation and processes, and security, war, peace, sustainable development and other non-traditional domains involving social, political and economic rights as well.

Gender Studies as a discipline has gained immense prominence in contemporary times. The systematic inquiries of Gender Studies help understand the many social and historical contexts in the interplay of genders, gender inequalities and fight for equality, impact and relevance of social movements on gender, gender practices in various forms of societies, and the role of gender in social and cultural production. The intellectual diversity, rigor, and discourse of Gender Studies, while providing an epistemological consciousness and sprit of inquiry among students, sensitize them about gender issues in society which further help in engendering respect for gender equality and gender identities.

B.A. (Hons.) Finance Entrepreneurship is an innovative programme that combines entrepreneurial skills and creative abilities with focused training in finance and practical knowledge of technology. This programme will provide students with the opportunity to develop skills through combination of traditional and practical knowledge, and perspectives on issues of finance and corporate affairs.

Jindal School of Banking & Finance offers the three-year fully residential B.A. Hons. Finance and Entrepreneurship programme with aim to provide students with hands-on training intending to prepare the students to create new products and services aiming to develop an entrepreneurial mindset with a practical understanding of finance in a dynamic environment.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology degree is awarded following completion of a three-year undergraduate programme committed to the study of human mental processes and behaviour. The programme aims to instil the necessary knowledge and skills for each student’s personal and academic growth, nurturing the next generation of professional leaders in psychology, counselling, and related fields.

At JGU, students experience a vibrant intellectual community within a modern and beautiful campus. JSPC students receive a comprehensive education in psychological theory, experimentation, and practice.
Employing a multidisciplinary approach, the JSPC curriculum ensures students gain a broad understanding of the psychological sciences. Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

This degree program is designed to help individuals develop the understanding necessary to successfully manage a business owned and operated by a family. Classes typically teach topics such as ownership control, succession and strategic relationships. Students discover ways to attain common goals, address conflicts and create plans for the company’s future.

The objective of the Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA, 5 year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. This programme will create excellent managers and also instill the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. Activities like live projects, field assignments and simulation games will form an integral part of the programme.

Field work such as the India Dream Project, Business Internship and Team-Consulting Assignment will help achieve holistic learning and also provide for a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary business environment. Option for a Post Graduate Degree Abroad: In the fifth year, students have the option to enroll for 1-year MS Degree with a partner foreign university subject to the terms and conditions of the host university.

The Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) is India’s first school of Global Policy, established in 2015 and offers a dynamic undergraduate programme: a 3-year B.A. (Hons.) in Global Affairs. Conceptualised as India’s first ever interdisciplinary undergraduate degree, it shall train students for international careers through basic learning in world affairs. It will help students acquire a holistic understanding of political theories and international affairs, develop in-depth knowledge of a region by offering various study abroad programmes associated with top ranking educational institutions across the globe. This course will teach students how to systematically apply methodological research, analysis, and historically contextualise contemporary global events. The Global B.Com. (Hons.) is the first programme being launched under the India Australia Global Education Initiative.The programme will offer innovative models of global education, training, and research for students in India. Students will commence studies with JGU in India and subsequently transfer to a Deakin University campus in Australia.

(Hons.) offered in collaboration between JGU and Deakin University promises an education experience that blends the best of both institutions through an industry-relevant education portfolio,world-class faculty, and dynamic learning environment on the campuses of JGU in India and Deakin University in Australia. The unique portfolio of two undergraduate degrees from both institutions and a master’s degree from Deakin will ensure that graduates have an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in two international university systems.
