In the School of Environmental Sciences (SES) we teach, study, and conduct research, in the life and physical sciences to address critical environmental issues and processes related to the lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.

School of Environmental Sciences provides and foster academic excellence in a diverse suite of undergraduate and graduate programs focused on the comprehensive study of biotic and abiotic interactions and environmental issues in natural and managed ecosystems. It is a highly respected, research-intensive community that promotes communication and collaboration among academics, industry and government at the provincial, national and international levels.

The School has diversified interest in various earth, atmospheric and biological processes. Linkages between Ecological and Social processes give an additional dimension to School's interest, making the work relevant. Therefore, the curriculum has components of disciplinary areas such as physical sciences, earth and atmospheric sciences, environmental biology, and environmental monitoring and management.

A discipline that applies the principles of Engineering, Physics & Materials Science for design, analysis, manufacturing & maintenance of mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines, hence, known as "Mother" discipline. The scope of the Mechanical Engineering is continuously expanding beyond traditional boundaries and therefore, it enjoys the status of an evergreen discipline. Mechanical Engineers focus their attention towards new areas of research such as Nano Technology, development of Composite Materials, Bio-Medical applications, Environmental conservations etc.

Mechanical Engineering aims at producing graduates ready to work in diverse multidisciplinary areas that are developing. The department provides excellent education in the application of the traditional blend of core areas of dynamics, vibrations, structural analysis, materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer and control theory for the analysis, design and manufacturing of a wide variety of mechanical systems. The discipline also provides strong training in modern developments in product design, mechatronics, nano-mechanics, advanced materials, robotics, CAD/CAM, modern manufacturing systems, and computational analysis. Specializations in Automobile, Aerospace, Renewable Energy Systems, Bio-medical Devices, Computational Engineering, and Systems Engineering are being introduced in the undergraduate curriculum. The students undergo extensive course work, project work, and laboratory experience during their studies.

Diploma in Civil Engineering is a 3 year course for students after completion of Class 10 that teaches students to plan, design, execute and maintain structural works like bridges, buildings, roads and other infrastructural projects.

Computer Engineering is not limited to only programming but it generates numerous opportunities in hardware and software development,web-development, Computer Support Specialist, Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Systems Designer, Database Administrator, Network Administratorand much more. It is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. 

A field of engineering sciences, related to design, construction and maintenance of buildings, dams, bridges, tunnels, highways and other structures by the use of physical laws, mathematical equations and theories of mechanics. Being a broader field Civil Engineering is divided into fields such as Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Engineering, and Management.

The Department of Civil Engineering is a full fledged department with specialisations in all the major areas of Civil Engineering. The departmental activities embrace Planning, Design, Construction and Management. The B. Tech. programme is a well designed curriculum meeting the expectations of industry experts who value high fundamental knowledge as well as exposure to new technologies which are visibly present in this industry today.

In this they learn about the analytical approach towards the human behaviour of the user while adapting the designed spaces.

Multidisciplinary Course: Our program covers vast array of projects which includes Residential, Commercial, Restoration, Retail, Corporate, Theatre & Adaptive-Reuse Projects. We also focus on preparing students for multidisciplinary self-efficient designers with skills & knowledge to design Furniture & Products with technical & functional learning.

Experiential Learning: We organize related study programme every year for the experiential learning in students to acquire the skills like documentation, planning, sketching, compositions, photography and joineries. Also, we have workshops & industry visits to make sure that students are aware about the current design trends.
