Internet of Things (IOT) as the name suggests is an idea that inspired by the internet. The internet interconnects computers in a network that spans the world. The IOT is a network with its components as sensors and actuators integrated in physical objects. These objects range from home appliances like refrigerators and television sets to pacemakers and road side cameras. In other words any object that accommodates a microchip can be linked to the IOT. These objects are connected via wired or wireless technologies. Interestingly the IOT use the same Protocol that drives the Internet. The potential of the IOT is enormous. It also promises reduced energy consumption and waste of resources. This reflects in the better health of the Environment. Business, Industry and individuals will save enormous cost and time due to optimized efficiency and reduced losses.

The field studies subjects such as Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Thermal Power, Energy Systems Design, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, I.C. Engines and Hydro- Thermal Turbomachines. The program aims to provide the engineer with cutting edge skills in numerical simulation, flow visualization, particle characterization, combustion diagnostics and thermal research. The course focuses on experimental and simulation techniques and their applications in the context of Thermal Engineering.

UI is a broad concept which includes the interactive aspects of hand tools, machines, process controls and computer operating systems. Considerations in UI design aims to makes it intuitive (self-explanatory), enjoyable, efficient and user-friendly so that the machine is operated to produce desired results. This means that the desired output should be given with minimal input. Thus a good UI optimizes human activity. The creation of successful UI involve disciplines as psychology and ergonomics
