Internet of Things (IOT) as the name suggests is an idea that inspired by the internet. The internet interconnects computers in a network that spans the world. The IOT is a network with its components as sensors and actuators integrated in physical objects. These objects range from home appliances like refrigerators and television sets to pacemakers and road side cameras. In other words any object that accommodates a microchip can be linked to the IOT. These objects are connected via wired or wireless technologies. Interestingly the IOT use the same Protocol that drives the Internet. The potential of the IOT is enormous. It also promises reduced energy consumption and waste of resources. This reflects in the better health of the Environment. Business, Industry and individuals will save enormous cost and time due to optimized efficiency and reduced losses.

The EVT has a minimal reliance on moving parts e.g. starter motors, exhaust systems, radiators, fuel injection systems etc. which are so abundant in conventional cars. Hence the servicing and maintenance is minimized. It doesn’t rely on gas fuels. Both the factors lead to savings. It helps the proliferation of renewable energy being amenable to solar energy technology for electrification.
