Master of Physiotherapy in Neurology is a postgraduate Physiotherapy course. Neurological physiotherapy is the treatment of patients who have neurological disorders. Neurological disorders are those affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nerves; such as stroke, MS, and Parkinson’s disease. Due to the unique nature of neurological injuries, neurotically patients require special care during their rehabilitation.This program provides a unique opportunity for physiotherapists who wish to develop and extend their knowledge base and professional expertise in the field of neurological rehabilitation.

This branch of microbiology is most widely studied and is of greater importance due to its linkage with medicine. It is an integration of both medicine and microbiology that deals with the study of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, virus and parasites, which are medically important and capable of causing infectious diseases in human beings. The students entering this course will receive an in-depth understanding of pathophysiology of disease caused by these microorganisms and its implications. Apart from deep knowledge and understanding of nature of pathogens and their pathogenicity, the course also gives a broader understanding of several immunological innovations in the field of medical science.

The programme gives knowledge about the discipline, research methods and basic professional skills pertaining to psychological testing, assessment and counselling Students Understand how psychology can be applied to solve problems facing humankind. The students learn computer literacy, including the ability to use various e-resources, technology and social media. Ability to use skills in specific areas related to chosen specialization (e.g., cognitive, industrial-organizational, clinical, counselling, health, educational, social, community) are developed. M.P.T. Ortho-Physiotherapy is a postgraduate Orthopaedics course. Orthopaedic physical therapy includes treatment of the musculoskeletal system (which is made up of the muscles and bones of the body) that has been subject to injury or trauma. This includes sprains, strains, post fracture, post-surgery and repetitive injuries. The areas of the body include the neck and back as well the extremities. Orthopaedic surgeons use means of both, surgery and non-surgery to treat and cure musculoskeletal problems, injuries to sportspersons, degenerative diseases, infections, and tumours and congenital disorders. All the matters of muscles and bones in the human body are dealt with by orthopaedic surgeons or specialists.
