The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is intended to provide a broader perspective on core business disciplines, helping students to acquire expertise in a diverse field. Civil engineering, the oldest and broadest of the divisions of engineering, implements a range of public and private projects for improving society’s physical infrastructure and the environment. The civil engineer integrates scientific principles with engineering experience to plan, design, and construct networks of highways and railroads, airports, bridges and dams, environmental pollution control systems, industrial structures, water purification and distribution systems, and urban transportation systems that maintain, protect, and enhance the quality of life. Civil engineers are trained to consider the social effects as well as the physical and environmental factors that constrain the planning, design, construction, and operation of their projects. The program gives students the theoretical background, instruction in engineering application of scientific principles, and professional attitude to serve the public.

Rayat Bahra University has taken a leap in employability-oriented education programme in collaboration with Railway academy under the guidance of IRSE (Institution of Railway Signal Engineers) to create, conduct and empower students to equip themselves with Railway Signaling and Telecommunication Technologies for an advance career in various rail projects across the globe.Railway Academy a flagship brand of Ilex academy (www.railwayacademy.org) is the knowledge & operations partner and is mandated to assist the alliance for program success. Railway Academy (A brand of ISPCPL) has collaborated with Rayat Bahra University for India’s First Programme with specialization in Signaling and Telecommunication Technologies (S&T) Engineering to train and create Job ready S&T professionals as demanded by ever expanding rail networks and railway projects companies.

The programme gives knowledge about the discipline, research methods and basic professional skills pertaining to psychological testing, assessment and counselling Students Understand how psychology can be applied to solve problems facing humankind. The students learn computer literacy, including the ability to use various e-resources, technology and social media. Ability to use skills in specific areas related to chosen specialization (e.g., cognitive, industrial-organizational, clinical, counselling, health, educational, social, community) are developed. The programme helps understanding varied socio-cultural contexts and being mindful of indigenous traditions.

Physiotherapists are trained professionals working in health care. They are trained to restore mobility, alleviate pain and suffering and work to prevent permanent disability in patients. Mechanisation and sedentary life style is the cause of many health related problems and injuries. People often encounter musculo-skeletal problems including backache, stiff shoulders, osteoarthritis, neck pain, etc. To alleviate pain, physiotherapists play an immense role in rehabilitation and thereby improving patient outcome. Therefore, physiotherapists maximise mobility and advance quality of life thereby adding life to years.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy BPT provides a rich breadth of educational experience along with essentials required for healthcare in the country. The course incorporates problem based approach enabling students in identifying, discussing and analysing the patient case from an individualistic perspective. The learning curve of the course is further enhanced by undergoing a mandatory rotating internship program where students can put in practice what they have learnt from the course on patient under the guidance and supervision of competent teachers. The program also aims to meet the international standards and is therefore being taught by experienced and qualified faculty.

The program is of two years in length (4 semesters), meant for candidates desiring to pursue post-graduate programme in education. Besides preparing teacher educators, the program also aims to prepare educational administrators, supervisors and researchers. The M.Ed. programme comprises of theoretical courses including specialized courses in disciplines of education and related practical/field work including exposure to and training in a teacher education institution. In addition, research work in the form of a dissertation forms an essential part of the programme. The program also provides opportunities for students to extend and deepen their knowledge and understanding of education by specializing in selected areas including Teacher Education and concurrently acquire research related skills.
