Civil engineering, the oldest and broadest of the divisions of engineering, implements a range of public and private projects for improving society’s physical infrastructure and the environment. The civil engineer integrates scientific principles with engineering experience to plan, design, and construct networks of highways and railroads, airports, bridges and dams, environmental pollution control systems, industrial structures, water purification and distribution systems, and urban transportation systems that maintain, protect, and enhance the quality of life. Civil engineers are trained to consider the social effects as well as the physical and environmental factors that constrain the planning, design, construction, and operation of their projects. The program gives students the theoretical background, instruction in engineering application of scientific principles, and professional attitude to serve the public.

M.Tech in Highway & Transportation Engineering is a 2 year Post Graduate course. M.Tech highway engineering deals with the student development as well as technical knowledge of advanced concepts in highway Engineering. Highway engineering is an engineering discipline that involves the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of roads, bridge and tunnels that provides effective way of transportation.

Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology: BHMCT is a four-year intensive program spread over eight semesters. The program exposes the student to the diversity of the hospitality industry along with the development of intellectual and leadership qualities, thereby allowing them to progress into management. In addition, the program provides the hospitality industry with competent young professionals having the necessary knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes for key operational positions. The program also lays a strong foundation in vertical growth to higher education opportunities as well as enables students to take up research that is current and relevant.

B.Sc-B.Ed program is an undergraduate integrated degree program aimed at improving the quality of teaching education. The course employs use of various tools and techniques combined with orientation on general education. B.Sc Medical Lab Technology is of three-year duration and involves clinical rotation in final year of study. Clinical rotation provides valuable experience to students giving hands on learning in each discipline of the laboratory and under close supervision of guided faculty. The course is interdisciplinary and students can opt for subjects from other fields besides traditional subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Cytology and Tissue Culture. B Sc Medical Lab Technology is an undergraduate medical lab technologist course. Medical Lab Technology also called Clinical Laboratory Science. The course teaches students to perform tests that aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases as well as handling, standardisation, management of advanced lab equipment’s and laboratories.

Environmental Science basically deals with the scientific study of environmental system (air, water, soil and land), the inherent or induced changes on organisms and the environmental damages incurred as a result of human interaction with the environment. It also deals with the study of technical processes involved in the protection of environment from the potentially deleterious effects of human activity and improving the environmental quality for the health and well beings of humans (Environmental Engineering). Main objective of Environmental Sciences education is to emphasize the importance of sustainable development i.e., economic development without degrading the environment. Hence, it covers the areas as environment and enterprise objectives, scope, and structure of the environment, interaction of nature, society and the enterprise, environment impact assessment, economics of pollution, prevention, environmental management standards etc.
