Environmental Science basically deals with the scientific study of environmental system (air, water, soil and land), the inherent or induced changes on organisms and the environmental damages incurred as a result of human interaction with the environment. It also deals with the study of technical processes involved in the protection of environment from the potentially deleterious effects of human activity and improving the environmental quality for the health and well beings of humans (Environmental Engineering). Main objective of Environmental Sciences education is to emphasize the importance of sustainable development i.e., economic development without degrading the environment. Hence, it covers the areas as environment and enterprise objectives, scope, and structure of the environment, interaction of nature, society and the enterprise, environment impact assessment, economics of pollution, prevention, environmental management standards etc.

Geotechnical Engineering  uses soil mechanics and rock mechanics for investigating underground conditions and materials, determine the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of such materials to assess the strength of available natural slopes and the man-made deposit for assessing the risks posed by site conditions. This in turn is useful for designing earthworks and structure. Foundations and monitoring of environmental conditions, land use and foundation construction.

M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering prepares a student to apply mathematical as well as scientific principles in the process of construction, development, and evaluation of systems and underground components, including land and rock, movement and stabilization, dumping sites. , structural use, and the environmental sustainability of waste and by-products, underground construction, and groundwater content and hazardous substances.

B.Sc Life Sciences Medical Stream is an under graduate degree program giving students an opportunity to fortress their skills and apply knowledge by making a valuable contribution to the global challenges facing humanity. D. Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Sciences is an undergraduate diploma program in pharmacy to enable students to understand basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. In order to cater to the growing needs of the pharmacy profession, this shorter version of the pharmacy profession was established for students. This program enables students to register themselves as Pharmacists after the course is completed. These registered pharmacists are however restricted either to community or hospital pharmacy stores. The course structure includes basic subjects in pharmacy along with guest lectures and industrial visits.

B.Sc. Optometry is an Undergraduate Program. Optometry is a health care profession which deals with the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system. It is a vision care science. One can also define it as the science of eye equipment (including lenses and spectacles) which is imbued with the idea of improving the vision of the human eye and remove all kinds of obstacles of sight which an individual may experience. This is a dynamic and challenging career, which allows one to help people, achieve personal growth, community respect, job flexibility and financial success and offers virtually unlimited opportunities. The program is envisaged to develop a multipurpose ophthalmic manpower at paramedical level. M.Sc. Dialysis Technologyis specifically aimed at those pursuing a professional career in Dialysis Technology. It is designed to provide specialized training both in basic scientific principles of modern Dialysis Technology and in the application of these principles. It is designed as a higher degree course suitable for graduates having experience in dialysis technology.
