Civil engineers are trained to consider the social effects as well as the physical and environmental factors that constrain the planning, design, construction, and operation of their projects. Physiotherapists are trained professionals working in health care. They are trained to restore mobility, alleviate pain and suffering and work to prevent permanent disability in patients. Mechanisation and sedentary life style is the cause of many health related problems and injuries. People often encounter musculo-skeletal problems including backache, stiff shoulders, osteoarthritis, neck pain, etc. To alleviate pain, physiotherapists play an immense role in rehabilitation and thereby improving patient outcome. Therefore, physiotherapists maximise mobility and advance quality of life thereby adding life to years.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy BPT provides a rich breadth of educational experience along with essentials required for healthcare in the country. The course incorporates problem based approach enabling students in identifying, discussing and analysing the patient case from an individualistic perspective. The learning curve of the course is further enhanced by undergoing a mandatory rotating internship program where students can put in practice what they have learnt from the course on patient under the guidance and supervision of competent teachers. The program also aims to meet the international standards and is therefore being taught by experienced and qualified faculty.

Masters of Commerce is a two-year post-graduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) as well as accounting and commerce sectors. The two-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, capital, revenue, trade, taxes, etc. taught in B.Com. MCom is a very versatile course and gives the students to choose their careers in various fields.

Master of Arts in Punjabi is a postgraduate Punjabi Course. Punjabi includes a comprehensive and thorough study of Punjabi as a discipline at an advanced level.

The program has been designed in way to develop graduates with key practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge essential for tomorrow’s leaders. The program also provides necessary skills in written communication, problem-solving, interpersonal understanding and critical thinking.

The program is of two years in length (4 semesters), meant for candidates desiring to pursue post-graduate programme in education. Besides preparing teacher educators, the program also aims to prepare educational administrators, supervisors and researchers. The M.Ed. programme comprises of theoretical courses including specialized courses in disciplines of education and related practical/field work including exposure to and training in a teacher education institution. In addition, research work in the form of a dissertation forms an essential part of the programme. The program also provides opportunities for students to extend and deepen their knowledge and understanding of education by specializing in selected areas including Teacher Education and concurrently acquire research related skills.
