Robotics Engineering is an interdisciplinary branch of electrical engineering & mechanical engineering. A robot is a reprogrammable, multifunctional manipulator designed to move material, parts, tools or specialized devices through variable programmed motions for the performance of a variety of tasks. The increased demand of current industry for efficiencies and safety of humans has led to a greater need for professionals with an added expertise in the field of ‘Robotics & Automation’. Robotics & Automation includes design, construction, operation, and application of robots coupled with computer based control systems, sensory feedback, and information processing.
