B.Sc. in Computer Science is a three-year undergraduate programme that focuses on the discipline of computer science. The programme covers important topics related to computer science such as – Coding, Programming languages, Computer Hardware and Software, Networking, Database Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics and Electronics. 
 
This programme equips students with the skills needed to contribute to this exciting and rapidly evolving field. It is this combination of skills that enable our graduates to keep pace with this fast-moving subject and secure rewarding careers that can be pursued almost anywhere in the world. The students acquire technical knowledge, skills and background for designing and organisation of computer systems. 
 
The programme helps the students in their ability to critically evaluate design paradigms, languages, algorithms, and techniques used to develop complex software systems. They also learn to evaluate and respond to opportunities for developing and exploiting new technologies.

Department of Biotechnology started with a vision to impart in-depth knowledge of biotechnology to create a pool of scientific personnel with expertise in biological engineering. Since then the department has endeavoured to educate and train its students to develop proficiency in each sector of biotechnology. The scheme of courses has been designed keeping in the demand trend in mind. A conscious effort has been made so that curriculum of each programme integrates courses of biological sciences and engineering together with relevant laboratory programs and a compulsory research project of variable duration. The university has recognized the significant role being played by biotechnologists in industrial development and has sought to implement an integrated approach towards education and research. The department strongly believes a teacher has to be involved in active research to be in touch with the recent development in the subject so as to deliver the latest know-how. The department has a strong interdisciplinary research and teaching base in biological sciences and engineering which prepares the student for industry as well as research programs. 

All the basic infrastructural facilities needed for conducting teaching and research programmes in different areas of Biotechnology have been developed in the department. The department is housed in a newly constructed building consisting of classrooms with audio-visual facilities well-equipped students laboratories research laboratories special lab for molecular biology genetic engineering plant tissue culture Microbial technology nano biotechnology and bioinformatics. the students undergo project training in modern biotechnology viz bioinformatics genomics nano biotechnology cancer cell signaling plant and animal Biotechnology structure base drug design neuro biology etc.

B. Tech in Computer Science with specialisation in Data Science & Analytics is a new, exponentially growing field which consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. The programme encompasses data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving oriented subject that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems.

The course curriculum involves a blend of data inference, algorithm development, and technology to analytically solve complex problems. The programme imparts a confluence of skills in three major areas of mathematical expertise, technology hacking skills and business strategy and acumen. 

The core of this programme is the ultimate use of enormous data in creative ways to generate business value. Hidden insights are brought to the fore to enable companies to make smarter business decisions. Data Science programme orients on practical classes and self-study during the preparation of datasets and programming of data analysis tasks.

M. Tech (Biotech) Plant Biotechnology is a two-year post-graduate programme streamlined to provide information about the biotechnology methods in plants. The programme revolves around equipping students with a deep understanding of all the types of biotechnology processes, including both classical and modern methods. It trains students in detecting and mapping genes, discovering their functions, breed them, and transfer them for developing specific traits into plants where they are needed.

This master's programme is research-based and thus, demands for extensive lab work. The programme curriculum is designed in a way that it encompasses a perfect balance of both theoretical and practical sessions for students to practice their class-learning. M.Tech in Civil Engineering with specialisation in Environmental Engineering is a two-year post-graduate programme focused on management of water resources land and air pollution. The programme imbibes key scientific mathematical and computational concepts for solving the traditional and emerging environmental issues in different geographical settings.

The main objective of the programme is to develop technocrats that can work towards minimising the adverse effects of anthropogenic activities on the environment and ensuring the provision of a safe and healthy environment for human beings.
