M. Tech (Biotech) Plant Biotechnology is a two-year post-graduate programme streamlined to provide information about the biotechnology methods in plants. The programme revolves around equipping students with a deep understanding of all the types of biotechnology processes, including both classical and modern methods. It trains students in detecting and mapping genes, discovering their functions, breed them, and transfer them for developing specific traits into plants where they are needed.

This master's programme is research-based and thus, demands for extensive lab work. Bachelor of technology (CSE) Bioinformatics is a four-year undergraduate programme that combines the study of information technology and computer science with the study of biology and medicine to understand the working of the human body. It involves the analysis of multiple factors which affect movement in our biological systems.

The curriculum of this programme is designed in such a manner that the students are taught all the essential concepts of bioinformatics through basic classroom teaching and experiential learning through various experiments and case studies. Students have full access to our state of the art laboratories where they can gain practical knowledge about the application of the Bioinformatics concepts in real life situations. B. Tech in Computer Science with specialisation in Data Science & Analytics is a new, exponentially growing field which consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. The programme encompasses data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving oriented subject that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems.

The course curriculum involves a blend of data inference, algorithm development, and technology to analytically solve complex problems. The programme imparts a confluence of skills in three major areas of mathematical expertise, technology hacking skills and business strategy and acumen.

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Digital Manufacturing is for individuals who are willing to change the landscape of product design and its manufacturing. You will be introduced to modern systems, processes, modelling and simulation tools that creates an integrated approach to manufacturing, thereby shifting from traditional hardware-based methodologies to digital processes in the manufacturing industry.

Students who are looking to transform the way a product is manufactured across the globe and become a part of modern manufacturing systems viz. additive manufacturing, robotics, industrial IoT and Embedded technology etc. in roles such as production engineer, quality control engineer, R& D engineer etc.

Department of Biotechnology started with a vision to impart in-depth knowledge of biotechnology to create a pool of scientific personnel with expertise in biological engineering. Since then the department has endeavoured to educate and train its students to develop proficiency in each sector of biotechnology. The scheme of courses has been designed keeping in the demand trend in mind. A conscious effort has been made so that curriculum of each programme integrates courses of biological sciences and engineering together with relevant laboratory programs and a compulsory research project of variable duration. The university has recognized the significant role being played by biotechnologists in industrial development and has sought to implement an integrated approach towards education and research. The department strongly believes a teacher has to be involved in active research to be in touch with the recent development in the subject so as to deliver the latest know-how. The department has a strong interdisciplinary research and teaching base in biological sciences and engineering which prepares the student for industry as well as research programs. 

All the basic infrastructural facilities needed for conducting teaching and research programmes in different areas of Biotechnology have been developed in the department. The department is housed in a newly constructed building consisting of classrooms with audio-visual facilities well-equipped students laboratories research laboratories special lab for molecular biology genetic engineering plant tissue culture Microbial technology nano biotechnology and bioinformatics. the students undergo project training in modern biotechnology viz bioinformatics genomics nano biotechnology cancer cell signaling plant and animal Biotechnology structure base drug design neuro biology etc.

M.Tech. (Biotech) Genetic Engineering is a two-year postgraduate programme that deals with the study of direct manipulation of an organism's genes using biotechnological techniques. The programme draws focus on topics like molecular genetics, immuno-biology, recombinant DNA technology, pharmacogenomics, stem cell technology and others.
Through this programme, students gain knowledge about finding newer and better methodologies for the betterment of the human race at large. Research, agriculture, industrial biotechnology and medicine are some of the fields that use Genetic engineering techniques.

The post-graduate programme incorporates a balance of both theory and practical sessions to give students an excellent head start on the career ladder. Upon completion, students can either pursue doctoral studies in the same discipline or establish a career in the research field.

B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year undergraduate programme imparting fundamental knowledge in core disciplines such as control systems communications radio frequency design signal processing microelectronics microprocessors power generation and electrical machines.

The programme curriculum involves industrious subjects like Application-based Programming in Programming in Python Digital System Design Microprocessor and Microcontroller with Interfacings and Network Analysis & Synthesis. B. Tech. in Food Process Engineering programme is a four-year undergraduate programme that introduces students to food-related technologies and its various specifications. It includes the study of the nutritive values of food and their chemical composition and relates to the study of areas food production areas like packaging,   chemical balances of food, nutrition, microbiology etc. along with the foundational knowledge of food products and food raw materials.
 
Students are introduced to various techniques such as food marketing, food processing, food and its related research methods etc. which helps them to understand them in the raw form and cope up with the challenges in the food processing industry.
   
The curriculum is designed to impart engineering knowledge in topics such as Unit Operations, Food Preservation, Crop Processing, Food Packaging and Food Safety & Quality Management to the students.

B.Tech. in Stem Cell & Tissue Engineering is a four-year undergraduate programme that provides extensive training in the science and practice of tissue engineering in all aspects from theoretical, to testing and clinical application. The programme targets those students that wish to pursue a career in biomedical or life sciences.
