BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) is 3 years (6 semesters) full-time program designed to guide the student from basic concepts to train them up to the recent advance technological practices in the industries. Imparting the latest required technical skill set through hands-on in the Hi-tech IT laboratories experiences is emphasized at every stage of the program and brings awareness to the future prospects in the modern IT world.

Vocational Mechanical Manufacturing aims to provide worthwhile on-field skill; it acts as a beginning year for advanced mechanical engineering and is designed to elevate students' to upgrade their knowledge for advanced studies giving them such career opportunities as becoming an engineer, designer, field engineer, piping engineer, project engineer, quality engineer, quality inspector or an entrepreneur etc. This well woven programme shall enhance employability of the students and meet industry requirements. Such students, apart from meeting the needs of local and national industry, are also expected to be equipped to become part of the global workforce.

In this course, students will be taught to perform specific duties and responsibilities under supervision of supervisor or Team lead for CCTV installations and Operations, which consist of directing, coordinating, planning, designing, operating, installing, troubleshooting and routine maintenance of video surveillance cameras and systems connected with project specification.

Good and sustainable environment with proper waste management is of major concern across the world. Silver Oak University on the same path is introducing a 4-year B. Tech. in Environment and Waste Management. This unconventional course prepares graduates to acquire competence in the field of waste management, waste prevention, waste utilization and waste treatment. The course extends service for promoting good health and hygiene to the public, understanding the importance of clean drinking water and well-planned sewerage system. This programme is envisaged to provide integrated knowledge and training in waste management and technologies. The curriculum formed aims to impart full justice to the subject matter with a strong knowledge base and skill development in waste management technology.

In this course, students will be taught to repair machines or systems using the needed tools. They will be taught to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. They will be explained how to determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it. They will understand what tests to conduct and how to inspect products, services or processes to evaluate quality of performance. They will learn which tools and equipments needed to do the job. They will know how to install equipments, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications.

B. Tech in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering programme which aims to provide technically competent graduates with professional ethics to serve the society and to promote research in the field of Civil Engineering. Being one of the oldest and evergreen discipline, it provides the best opportunity for those who want to build their career in this booming construction industry and serve the nation at large. During the four year tenure, along with their academic curriculum, the programme aims to expose students to the practical aspects of Civil Engineering where they will be involved in field visits as well as workshops and training sessions to enhance their technical proficiency so that they can confidently face the world of work.

In this course, students will be taught to follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined. They will be taught to perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels and rotating tyres. They will learn to repair or replace worn parts such as brake pads and wheel bearings. They will the skill to disassemble and reassemble parts of a vehicle. They will also learn how to test equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective. They will learn how to explain the clients about their automotive vehicle/s problems and repairs that should be done.

Welding is a complicated skill form that people take a lot of time to practice and master. It is not any one just pick up the profession on the spot. However, it has become a much easier practice today with all the advancements in technologies.
