Planning (Sustainable Planning) is being introduced to Sushant School of Planning and Development to bridge the gap between the Physical/Spatial Planning on one hand and the natural environment on the other, to give our immediate environs some meaning and a tangible purpose, to encourage a symbiotic relationship between them all, and ultimately to encourage the nurturing, management and maintenance of our built and un-built infrastructure.

Masters of Optometry is a postgraduate degree in Optometry & Vision Science. AU, being one of the Best Optometry Colleges in India, exposes its students to various higher specialization of Optometry such as Advanced Contact Lens, Low Vision and visual rehabilitation, Binocular Vision and vision therapy, ocular diagnostics, Sports Vision and occupational optometry. Some of the courses that are covered include Materials and Production Processes, Design Drawing, Fundamentals of CAD, Human Factors, Rapid Prototyping, Photography, Product Design Projects, as well as Practice Management and Enterprise.

The Communication Design programme at School of Design aims to create design professionals for the communications industry, with a deep understanding of the processes and types of communication that influence current as well as future trends. Be it print, digital or technology, communication design professionals are most sought after for conceptualising and structuring strategy as well as their execution. The Communication Design programme at School of Design balances the traditional understanding of visual communication with emerging aspects of technology driven practices to enable the student to get a wide grasp of the requirements in the field.
