Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Automation is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process automation. Energy analytics is an interdisciplinary area applying techniques and methodologies of engineering management, economics, statistics, and electrical engineering to solve real-world analytical problems in the energy industry. The course covers major energy-related applications of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. It includes areas such as energy data analysis, load forecasting, price forecasting, renewable generation forecasting, energy trading and risk management, demand response and customer analytics, and utilities outage analytics.

Turbomachinery is the term used to broadly describe the rotating components in the jet engine. It is an arrangement designed to convert kinetic energy into other forms of usable energy, depending upon the application of the unit. Turbomachinery covers industries from energy conversion to the aeronautical engineering sector. Because of its extensive use in the job market, getting qualified in turbomachinery is crucial for any engineering. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) plays an essential role to analyse fluid flows and heat transfer situations by using numerical methods. Turbomachines involve internal and external fluid flow problems in compressors and turbines. CFD at present is one of the most important tools to design and analyse all types of turbomachinery flow physics. In the realm of turbomachinery, there is no shortage of diversity in the types of aero-thermal analysis of compressor and turbine as well as turbulent mixing in the flow passage area of the turbomachinery. Energy content is being added into and extracted from the flow and the resulting turbulent structures are not only taken for a ride, but precisely manipulated to maximize the performance of the system. For example, consider the cooling flow which is meant to blanket and protect the blade surface, as in the media below. The turbulence between the primary flow and the blanket of cooling flow streams has a massive impact on the effectiveness in shielding the metal parts from high heat loads.

M.Sc. with specialization of nutrition and dietetics is two year master program, which covers all theory and practical courses of nutrition and dietetics.  This program enable the students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, nutritional assessment and diet planning.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The specialisation educates students in regulating and resolving disputes relating to both individual labour laws i.e. the employees’ rights at work and the employment standards as well as the tripartite labour laws i.e. the relationship between the employer, employee, and the union. UPES provides students with an opportunity to complete two seminar papers and a dissertation exclusively in labour laws under the mentorship of the faculty and an industry-based professional.
