This professional integrated degree of arts with the profound knowledge of the law gives a double boost to the career of students aspiring to join the legal fraternity. The subjects covered under arts include Sociology, History, Political Science in correlation with legal subjects of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Labour Laws under the proficient guidance of highly qualified faculty members.

This is a 5-year full-time course, which explores the role of international economic law in the contemporary global economy. It provides an overview of the legal foundations of the global economy and the regulatory frameworks governing international trade and investment relations.

The emphasis of the course is upon how international trade economics interacts with domestic investment law and cross-border investment law keeping in view MNC’s as well as other state and non-state actors.

PhD in Chemical Engineering is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Chemical Engineering.

In this specialisation, students learn about essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts using Java, databases, software engineering and design processes. Sustainable Engineering is the process to generate energy through the processing of organic and inorganic sources. Positive regulatory reforms toward effective management of trash along with stringent government targets to integrate renewable energy resources will drive the industry dynamics in the coming years. This course is aligned with the present trends in the industries at global level keeping all aspects of technological advancement their performance analysis and technology deployment support structure to make the learner develop the required knowledge and skills as per the need of the industries.

B.Sc. Clinical Research, a three-year full-time undergraduate program, will help in building up a strong foundation towards various clinical and pre-clinical research aspects. The curriculum will include, Pharmacovigilance, Scientific Writing, SAS, Ethics in Clinical Research, design thinking and application of artificial intelligence in Clinical Research thus imparting skills required in this industry.

The program covers various aspects of managing Aviation operations. It includes multiple facets like overseeing runway operations, terminal operations, peak hour passengers’ management, aircraft stands administration and airspace operations. This course aims towards building up foundation in understanding airport master planning and associated constraints.

UPES provides a unique and focused Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc program with specialization in analytical chemistry. The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries and research fields. Students who are enrolled in integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. with specialization in Analytical Chemistry program, can enhance their skills related to evaluation, measurement, and interpretation of scientific data. The plethora of research area among the faculty members provides an understanding of different future oriented aspects of chemistry.  The Laboratory courses are designed to offer comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience on sophisticated techniques. This integrated program is focused on innovative research training in the field of microbiology to pursue a career in industry, academic or government research laboratories. The program offers specialization in Food Microbiology, Biochemical processes and Analysis besides minors in diverse areas such as Engineering, Computer Science, Management, Law, Design and Media.

Masters in Microbiology is a two year course that offers two specialization streams namely Food and Environmental Microbiology and Medical and Pharmaceutical Microbiology. The stream Food and Environmental Microbiology offers electives courses such as probiotics and pre-biotics, food contamination and food borne diseases, bio fertilizers and bioremediation. Each stage of course is one up the previous level. Pre-biotics and pro-biotics covers how microbes are used in therapy and in impacting our over-all health. Food borne diseases delves upon how infectious diseases are contracted through food and prevention measures. The last course in the specialization bio-fertilizers and bioremediation elaborates the role of microbes in killing other microbes, pests and insects; and bio-remediation elaborates on the use of microbes in removal of toxins, contaminants and pollutants from environment. These three courses enable a student to become prospective food and or environmental microbiologist. The syllabus is designed such that students intern in industries/companies of their interest and do multi-disciplinary research project at SoHSSchool of Health Sciences, UPES in tie up with School of Computer Science, School of Business, School of Engineering and School of Design. The focus remains on outcome based education with the outcome being highly employable, problem solving microbiologists.
