The program is designed such that after completing it, students would be able to excel in academia, industries, and research. The faculty members in the department have diverse research expertise including but not limited to materials science, nanotechnology, renewable energy, computational materials science, high energy physics, nuclear physics, plasmonics, spintronics, etc., which would provide students flexibility in opting for their PhD topic. The curriculum is designed to give exposure not only about the subject but also research ethics, communication and skill augmentation. The completion of the course ensures deep knowledge with wide exposure, intellectual development, and ethical awareness that make students ready for various professional research, industrial and academic opportunities.

The specialization provides hands-on experience in subjects such as retail analytics, retail supply chain, retail business, retail marketing and e-payment system for e-commerce. The curriculum includes required skills in digital marketing and search engine optimization.

Develops highly skilled disaster management experts.  Helps to apply suitable disaster management policies and techniques in line with local conditions and assist in reducing the losses that impact developing countries in particular.

Pure mathematics includes developing the fundamental tools used by mathematicians, such as algebra and calculus, describing multi-dimensional space, or a better understanding of the philosophical meaning of mathematics and numbers themselves. Pure mathematics is the study of the basic concepts and structures that underlie mathematics. Its purpose is to search for a deeper understanding and an expanded knowledge of mathematics itself. 

The full term of two years and the syllabus for the program is divided into four semesters. This Master’s program is also an ideal preparation for various PhD programs in basic sciences and engineering.

E&P data stored in warehouses on various old media technologies cannot be accessed on today’s platforms, and that signifying missed opportunities. Oil and gas organizations possess a wealth of subsurface information. Optimal use of E&P data differentiates production plateaus from fresh income-generating insights using historical data. Companies can forego around nearly 8 billion dollars a year in non-productive time as their geologists, geophysicists, engineers, and data managers spend up to 70 percent of  time filtering mountains of well (onshore and offshore) cores, logscans, and subsurface seismic data in many current and defunct software applications and databases.
Storage, management and organization of giant volumes of hard-copy proprietary records and media archives, and locating and accessing the specific data required for analysis, interpretation and processing, is unwieldy and challenging. This inefficiency renders only 1% of the existing data of any value.

Digitizing and transforming these valuable data into safe cloud-based data, puts priceless E&P information at the geoscientist’s and data manager’s disposal. It is stored privately and securely in the cloud. Digitized geoscience data, when combined with data analytics can be instantly read, interpreted, indexed, manipulated, verified and accessed with smart-tools incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning. Therefore, legacy data can be mined to discover useful patterns for prompt and wise decisions.

Apart from essential computer Science concepts such as algorithm, data structures, OOPS concepts with java and advanced Java and python, with databases and software engineering design processes, students pursuing Banking, Financial Services and Insurance will also learn banking application architectures, Banking data analytics along with products and processes in Banking sectors. Concepts of Data Science and Informatics are demystifying along with core competencies at appropriate positions.

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

The course trains students to assist clients in setting up and managing their businesses across India. The program is a blend of legal functioning of the corporate entities with compliances required by them. Students will be able to provide end-to-end advisory service regarding the most suitable form of organization, based on the client’s specific needs and objectives. This may include incorporation and setting up of all types of Companies, creating a business setup in India through a branch or liaison office, obtaining statutory approvals and licenses for starting a business from local, municipal, state, and central government authorities.

The program trains students to apply skills learnt in a classroom along with industry exposure in a developmental context. This prepares students for leadership positions – both in intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship scenarios.
