The B. Tech. Applied Petroleum Engineering Upstream Spl in Specialization in Digital oilfield training is the panacea for intricacies of today’s oilfield business. Keeping this in mind, UPES offers digital oil field specialization to B Tech students of petroleum engineering. Digital oilfield concept blends business process management with digital technologies for workflow automation, productivity maximization, and cost reduction, resulting in O&G operation risk minimization.

A thorough implementation of digital oilfield can aid E&P as well as service companies enhance operational efficiency, production optimization, data integration, teamwork, and workflow automation. B.Sc (H) Physics, with specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Computational Physics would be a full time 3-year undergraduate program in Physics. Dietetics and holistic wellness covers all information concerned with the diet planning and its effects on health, especially with the practical application of a scientific understanding of diet calculation. Dietetics and holistic wellness prepares students to use advanced knowledge about food and diet to help, prevent as well as treat diseases and maintain holistic wellness. Dietetics is a science that deals with the adequacy of diet during normal life cycle and modifications required during diseased condition. Holistic wellness is associated with an active process of being aware and making choices that lead toward an outcome of optimal holistic health and wellbeing. This specialization enable the students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, dietary assessment and diet planning. It imparts the understanding of the concepts of diet therapy, basic dietetics, public health, therapeutic nutrition and alternative wellness therapies. It deals with diet monitoring, food exchange and calorie calculation. This specialization covers all Incidence, etiology, pathology & metabolic aberrations, clinical manifestation, complications, dietary management &counseling of Acute and chronic fever, Surgery, burns and trauma.

Companies can forego around nearly 8 billion dollars a year in non-productive time as their geologists, geophysicists, engineers, and data managers spend up to 70 percent of  time filtering mountains of well (onshore and offshore) cores, logscans, and subsurface seismic data in many current and defunct software applications and databases.

B. Pharmacy is a four-year undergraduate professional program spread across eight semesters which deals with the study of medicines. The core subjects of the program include pharmaceutical chemistry (chemistry of medicinal compounds), pharmaceutics (manufacturing of dosage forms such as tablets, capsules etc.), pharmacology (action of drugs on the body and action of body on the drugs) and pharmacognosy (medicinal drugs obtained from plants and other natural sources). In addition to the core subjects defined by PCI, electives such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Design Thinking and Data Analytics are offered to the students.

UPES provides a unique and focused M.Sc. program with specialization in Organic chemistry. The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries and research fields. M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry will help the students to understand the chemical synthesis of various chemicals, products and polymers The plethora of research area among the faculty members provides an understanding of different future oriented aspects of chemistry.  The Laboratory courses are designed to offer comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience on sophisticated techniques. The last semester of the program is dedicated to dissertation work making students aware about the application of concepts on real-life challenges.
