UPES provides a unique and focused M.Sc. program with specialization in Pharmaceutical  chemistry. The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries, research, and commercial fields. Pharmaceutical chemistry involves study of synthesis and analysis of organic molecules which have therapeutic potential. It is an important branch of pharmaceutical research as it is major part of drug discovery and development phase. Major courses under pharmaceutical chemistry are organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical analysis, quality assurance and good laboratory practices.

UPES has well equipped labs in VLSI Design, Embedded System, National Instruments lab (NI), DSP and RF lab.

Automotive design is a distinctive field that encompasses engineering, creativity, business acumen and safety. An automotive designer is not bounded by automobiles only, they can be a designer for any form of wheeled transportation. This course includes a wide assortment of topics on the related aspects of the transportation sector, energy, and environmental concerns, application of fossil and alternative fuels and development of vehicles of the future. Automotive design engineering is a combination of art and science; a strong aesthetic sense is needed, as well as a solid grounding in the engineering and materials involved in building cars and their component parts.  Our program offers something unique wherein, we teach our students to be prepared for their professional career and also be life-long learners. Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - (Interaction Design) in Interaction Design trains students to research, analyze, prototype, and design concepts in business, social, and cultural contexts within existing and emerging technologies. Students will gain proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces, ranging from 2D screen (UI for web and mobile) to 3D (AR/VR and will be able to conceptualize user experiences around new and emerging technology, and design to make interfaces more usable, useful and pleasant.

The Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - in Product Design lays emphasis on a process-centric approach of participation and teamwork to shape the students’ education. The curriculum is designed in a way that gradually increases in complexity levels and covers broad areas that product designers will come across in their professional careers. Collaborative projects with industrial houses, social sector, government and multinational companies are a part of the education process.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.
