The B. Tech. Applied Petroleum Engineering spl. in Gas (APEG) is a unique program which allows the students to have the feel of both the upstream – natural gas exploration and production & downstream - natural gas processing and distribution. The students understand the concepts of how natural gas reserves are explored, extracted, processed and then distributed. Students study courses like Enhanced oil recovery, Gasification & Gas to Liquid Technology, liquefied natural gas, city gas distribution etc., with hands-on experience using software like PIPESIM, SIMSCI PIPEPHASE and MATLAB. The graduate students have a huge scope in companies like Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Petronet LNG, Shell, Halliburton, Adani gas, Reliance, etc

Information Technology Infrastructure is the backbone of any business which uses IT as a service to run their business. IT Infrastructure work with a combination of three components, Hardware, Software, and Networking. This course provides both theoretical and practical knowledge of OS Management, Cloud Management, Virtualization Management, IT Operation Management, Configuration Management, API Management, Risk Management, Cyber Security, Customer Relationship Management, and many more. This training will be provided by experienced faculty members (having good academic and research records) and industry professionals.

Plant Biotechnology assist developing new varieties of crop like genetically engineered crop, marker assisted selection, genetics and genomics, etc. This field of study helps in identifying and mapping genes, discovering their functions and transferring desired gene to specific plants as per requirement. This branch of study also focuses on all aspects of genetic engineering process to enhance efficiency, expression and precision of added gene.

This programs’ problem-based learning mechanism, emphasizes on genomics, proteomics and metabolomics. UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme in Game Design revolves around 3D modeling, concept art, script writing and game mechanics. This is a five-year program that offers domain-specific subjects ranging from Making of the Indian Constitution, Jurisprudential Approach to Constitution to Comparative Federalism, and Legislative Relations. Drawing heavily from the rulings made in the Supreme Court, it is designed to preserve the relationships between state and federal governments and protect the rights of the individual. Aerodynamics is the science of moving air and its impact on solid bodies placed in the flow field as an obstacle. Being a sub-field, most of the equations from fluid dynamics apply to aerodynamics as well, including all the governing equations, turbulence, boundary layer theory, and ideal gas assumption. Racing cars and wind turbines are examples of technologies outside of aerospace in which aerodynamics engineering play a prominent part. Aerodynamic engineering often uses a mix of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), wind tunnel work and ultimately flight-testing to achieve a solution. CFD is widely accepted as a key tool for aerodynamic design. Reynolds Average Navier-Stokes (RANS) solutions are a common tool, and methodologies like Large Eddy Simulation (LES) that were once confined to simple canonical flows (isotropic turbulence in a box, channel flow), are moving to complex engineering applications.
