UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme in Game Design revolves around 3D modeling, concept art, script writing and game mechanics. In this program, a student learns about the basics food preservation and conservation. In this particular specialization, the Design of food process plant, Food plant location, Food plant layout, requirements like water supply, Electricity supply, clean environment and location, Contraction material used, Waste management, cleaning and sanitisation are main course content. The equipment used during food processing, packaging requirement, utensils, standards related to material used in construction of food processing equipment’s, standardisation of food process, arrangements of equipment’s in best possible way.  The food processing Industry visit carried out for practical knowledge.  Food Industry Trainings are also carried out. Scope and importance of food plant engineering, Processing methods and their requirements, Preservation by drying, Preservation by low temperature, heat treatments, and Food conversion operation. In this a student learns about various techniques and procedures involved in food packaging. This subject helps a student to understand the importance of processing of various kinds of food products. This course covers both practical and theoretical aspects of food industry.

B.Sc. Geology Hons. program provides specialization in Geoinformatics

Geoinformatics is the science and the technology, which develops and applies information science infrastructure to solve geoscience and engineering related problems. It deals with the structure and character of spatial information, its capture, classification and qualification, storage, processing, description and propagation, including the infrastructure required for optimal use of this information. Earth science increasingly relies on digital spatial data acquired from remotely sensed images analyzed by GIS photograph interpretation, and web mining.  Geoinformatics combines geospatial analysis and modeling, development of geospatial databases, information systems design, human-computer interaction and both wired and wireless networking technologies. Geoinformatics is analyzed using geo-computation and geo-visualization for fields such as urban planning and land use management.

This course prepares students to undertake varied roles within the tourism sector. The program includes independent tour agencies management and operations as well as niche-chartered airlines operations venturing into pure tourism markets. Students get the opportunity to learn the intricacies of global and domestic tourism markets, seasonal variations in demand, factors affecting tourism markets and planning and execution of tour operations on a large scale.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This is a 5-year full-time course, which explores the role of international economic law in the contemporary global economy. It provides an overview of the legal foundations of the global economy and the regulatory frameworks governing international trade and investment relations.

The emphasis of the course is upon how international trade economics interacts with domestic investment law and cross-border investment law keeping in view MNC’s as well as other state and non-state actors.
